Welcome to this grounding breathwork practice with Breathe With The Sweet.
Everything in life starts with our breath.
Including on mornings.
Even just a few minutes of breathwork can help you to regulate the nervous system and ground yourself so you can start the day with a calm mind and clarity.
Is also a great tool you can use throughout the day,
Anywhere and anytime you need instant grounding.
This is one of my favorite breathing patterns for ADHD because it works almost instantly and only takes a few minutes to do.
It's called the 478 method and was developed by Dr.
Andrew Weil.
And is also nicknamed the natural tranquilizer.
You're going to breathe in for a count of four.
Hold for a count of 7 and exhale for a count of 8.
Four rounds,
And that's it.
I will be counting so you can focus on your breathing.
Find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or laying down.
And close your eyes.

And now just keep breathing normal in a rhythm that feels good.
You can also set an intention or goal of what you want to achieve today.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
And bring this fresh new vibrant energy with you into your day.
And come back to this practice anytime you need a quick reset.
Thank you for breathing with me today.
