Thank you for joining me in this guided meditation.
Today we will be fostering self love and self acceptance.
So let's get started.
Go ahead and find a comfortable seat.
Either soften your gaze or close your eyes.
Whichever feels most comfortable.
Gently bring your attention to your breath.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale Exhale.
Inhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Notice that you are observing your breath.
In fact,
You are the observer of all internal and external experiences.
Your breath,
Your thoughts,
Your physical sensations,
Your environment.
All are simply experiences you are witnessing.
Now as you observe your breath,
Begin to notice its qualities.
Are you breathing quickly or slowly?
Is your breath moving into your belly?
Or is it getting caught at the top of your lungs?
Are you breathing a smooth inhale and exhale?
Does it feel ragged?
As an observer,
We do not judge or attempt to change.
We simply notice.
Next,
I will invite you to envision a bright glowing light emanating from a spot right above your head.
Notice the warmth radiating from this beam of light as it gently heats the top of your head.
Now envision this glowing light slowly flowing into your body.
Watch as it slowly moves down your head,
Into your neck.
Maybe your eyes soften,
Your jaw unclenches,
And your shoulders relax away from your ears.
Imagine the warm light moving now into your chest,
Your heart space,
Your belly,
Your arms.
Perhaps your breathing begins to deepen and feel expansion near your heart.
Maybe your arms feel heavier as they rest on your legs or on the chair.
As the light continues to move downwards,
Notice as your hips fall more firmly in your seat,
Allowing gravity to root you to the earth.
Watch as the warm light trickles now to your legs,
Your calves,
Your feet.
Notice the light shooting out from your feet.
Observe what it's like for your entire body to be completely enveloped in this warm,
Glowing light.
As you envision this warm light radiating through your body,
I invite you now to experience this as self-love and self-acceptance.
Imagine this love and acceptance flowing from the top of your head all the way to the bottom of your feet.
Notice the sensations that arise as you envision this.
Do you feel warm?
Do you feel ease?
Do you feel tingling?
Whatever you notice is okay.
We're not judging.
We are simply observing.
As you allow yourself to become completely engrossed in this light,
Perhaps you repeat in your mind what I say aloud.
I am perfectly imperfect.
I am worthy of love as I am right now.
I deserve bold and courageous love.
I love my mind,
Body,
And soul.
I love the shadows and the light within me.
I am deserving of good things,
Happiness,
And joy.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Notice your breath,
Your muscles,
Your entire body once more.
Allow yourself a few more moments to revel in this place of love and acceptance.
As the light remains shining through you,
I invite you to slowly bring your attention back to the room.
Begin to notice the sounds around you.
Notice you wiggle fingers and toe.
Maybe you gently shift your head from side to side.
And slowly,
So slowly,
Flutter your eyes open.
As you return to the waking world,
Notice that these feelings and sensations stay with you.
Take them as you move throughout the remainder of your day,
Knowing that you can bring yourself back here at any time.
