This is a poem written by E. E. Cummings who celebrates the moment with such gratitude that it captures the heart and soul of the listener. And there are reflection questions to meditate on afterward. | Here is the beginning of this wonderful piece of poetry: I thank You God for most this amazing day: | for the leaping greenly spirits of trees | and a blue true dream of sky; | and for everything | which is natural which is infinite which is yes

Hello,

This is Rachel Boucher and today I am sharing with you a poem by E.

E.

Cummings called,

I Thank You God for Most This Amazing Day.

I thank you God for most this amazing day,

For the leaping green leaf spirits of trees and a blue true dream of sky and for everything which is natural,

Which is infinite,

Which is yes.

I who have died am alive again today and this is the sun's birthday.

This is the birthday of life and love and wings and of the gay great happening,

Limitably earth,

How should tasting,

Touching,

Hearing,

Seeing,

Breathing,

Any lifted from the no of all nothing,

Human merely being doubt unimaginable you.

Now the ears of my ears awake and now the eyes of my eyes are opened.

What are you thankful for today?

What makes your soul shine?

Thank you for joining me on this most amazing day.
