Today,
Our breath practice will be an advanced yogic breathing technique called Kabbalah Badi,
Or Skull Shining Breath.
This method is a great way to shake off negative energy and warm up your mind,
Body,
And spirit for a formal meditation practice,
Or just as a short meditation in itself to center you for the day.
The method goes like this.
Take a long,
Slow breath in.
Quickly let out a powerful exhale from your diaphragm.
Take another long,
Slow breath in.
Exhale strongly from your diaphragm out.
Let the force of your exhale rebound effortlessly into your inhale.
Don't force your inhale.
Just let it be the response and the bouncing back from your exhale.
If it helps,
You can place your hand on your belly to get a feel for where to breathe from.
Continue like this for a while.
