This is an abstract idea, but a powerful one - we are all mirror reflections of each other, so that when it comes to the end of our lives, we will realize that we were all wearing masks, and we were, all the same, being interacting with ourselves.

Hey everyone,

I hope that you guys are doing amazing wherever you are in the world.

My name is Boomshakha and I welcome you to my channel.

As always,

I'm so grateful that you guys are listening,

Subscribing and commenting.

I really appreciate the support.

In this one,

I wanted to talk to you guys about everyone being a mirror reflection of you,

Not only in life but also in death.

Recently,

I was talking to a couple of my girlfriends on Zoom.

We're trying to do all these calls with everyone so that we don't lose touch,

Especially people who I met in Chiang Mai but now are living all over the world.

One of them is in London and one of them is actually in Toronto.

We all met in Chiang Mai.

We did a Zoom call together and one of my girlfriends started talking about this quote from Matt Kahn.

I think that's the guy who wrote the book or that's where it comes from.

I don't actually know exactly because she just kind of randomly spattered it and I wasn't able to get the right quote from her.

The essence of the quote was something like this,

That when we die at the end of our lives and we're in that little phase between lives,

So if you believe in reincarnation,

There is this point of time and space.

Now,

It's not necessarily like our time and space obviously,

So it might last for a second in our time,

But it lasts for eons or generations or eternity in that,

Right?

Time and space doesn't really matter,

But we're there in between our lives and we're either given lessons or we're taught certain things.

In that phase,

We're standing there and we actually are able to see everyone that we met in our lifetime.

They're all wearing a mask and they're all around us and they're in front of us.

We're standing there and whoever is teaching us this lesson tells them to take off their masks.

Everyone has their face and they take off their face and all of them are us.

Every single person,

Basically the essence of the idea is that every single person that we meet on this planet in this lifetime,

From our parents to the dogs on the street to that teacher that you dislike to that lover that you had a great time with or that whatever might be,

Right?

There's a hundred thousand people that you pass by randomly on the street or you might sit by on the subway car or on an airplane and so all of these people,

You've met them for a millisecond or for a lifetime and all of them are there to teach you a lesson.

All of them are there to show you something about yourself actually.

And so they're reflections of yourself.

All of them are you basically talking to yourself trying to teach you a lesson.

And I thought that was such a beautiful imagery because it's literally how everything works in my life where I am always trying to figure out what particularly is this person in my life for whenever I meet someone and what lesson are they trying to teach me about myself.

Why are they here and what am I missing in myself that they're trying to show me.

A lot of times when people compliment me and I'm like,

Well,

I'm not really like that and I kind of brush it off,

A lot of times they say that what we see in other people is what is within us already.

And a lot of times it's easy for me to see goodness or kindness or generosity or brilliance or intelligence or confidence and all that stuff in other people but very difficult to see it within myself.

And I think the universe knows that sometimes as human beings it's hard for us to see ourselves as we truly are the brilliant creatures that we are.

And again the universe sends us these people into our lives,

Confident people,

Beautiful people,

Brilliant people and then we're able to see their brilliance,

We're able to see their confidence,

We're able to see their magnificence.

And then the universe reminds us,

All right,

If you can see it in them it exists within you as well.

You cannot see something in someone else that already does not exist within yourself.

And that's something that's a very important lesson for a lot of us to learn because a lot of us have a hard time seeing the goodness within ourselves.

Very easy for us to see the goodness in other people and be like,

Wow,

They're great,

They're awesome,

I wish I could be like them.

But it's very difficult for us to be like,

Oh,

Yeah,

I'm good as well and I'm awesome as well and I know,

I want to be humble about it but I have some good stuff to offer to the world as well.

And I think especially in this time right now where we're all kind of dealing with this thing where we're like,

What am I contributing to the world?

Especially right now where maybe perhaps you're sitting at home and not working or perhaps you're working from home but it doesn't feel like it's real anymore and your entire lifetime right now is feeling like you're in a movie of some sort and they're going to yell cut at any point and then you can go back to your real life.

But right now it feels like you're in some sort of limbo.

And a lot of us are probably thinking,

All right,

What is the purpose here?

What is my purpose?

Why am I here?

Why was I given this life?

Why was I given this world?

Why was I put on this planet at this point in time?

And so I think a lot of times we start doubting ourselves and we start berating ourselves or we start putting ourselves down.

We start wondering if we are even useful creatures in any shape or form or what is the purpose of us and why are we even here and have we even contributed in a way?

And we start berating ourselves like that.

And I know a lot of you guys do it.

I know a lot of my friends do it.

The girl on my call with my friend was doing that as well to herself.

She's like,

Everyone else seems like they're doing amazing things and I have nothing to contribute.

And that's when the universe sends you all these amazing people into your life to tell you,

You have that within you as well.

If you can see it within someone else,

It is just a reflection of you.

At the end of your life,

When they're all going to take their masks off,

You're going to see that it was you reflected in all of them and them reflected in you.

We're all just the same creature.

We're all part of this universal consciousness,

The supreme consciousness,

And we're just iterations,

Copies of the same being,

Which is the same person,

Repeated over and over again,

Learning those lessons by interacting with different versions of themselves with the same person.

And so all of this kind of seems perhaps a little bit abstract,

But it can be made less abstract by figuring out that,

Yes,

Everyone around you is exactly the same as you.

And they're trying to teach you some lessons about yourself.

Perhaps they're trying to show you a part of yourself that you've forgotten.

Maybe you are a creative person,

But you don't think of yourself as creative anymore.

And you end up getting all these creative people in your life and you're thinking to yourself,

Why are there so many really brilliant musicians around me?

And then you realize it's because the universe is trying to remind you that you're a musician as well.

And you need to get back into that or you're a creative person as well.

And you need to figure out how to boost your creativity again.

And so I think I always take it as a lesson or as a sign or a signal from the universe whenever I have this kind of stuff happening into my life,

Where I start noticing that I end up getting a lot of interesting people in my life all of a sudden,

Or I start getting a lot of musicians in my life or creative people or a lot of watercolor artists or a lot of whatever it might be.

It always contains a lesson or a sign within it that the universe is trying to push me towards.

Because as human beings,

As you guys probably know,

We're so obtuse sometimes,

We're so completely ingrained into our head and into our misery that it's very difficult for us sometimes to see the truth.

And the universe literally has to beat it into our heads by showing us some kind of vision or showing us a person or pushing us towards something.

And you're sitting there thinking,

Why is the universe being so forceful?

Well,

You have been ignoring the signs for so long.

And eventually the universe is like,

All right,

I can't take this anymore.

This person keeps on ignoring these important lessons I'm sending it.

And I really need it to learn this lesson because it's important.

So I'm going to do something dramatic to show it the lesson.

And I think that's what's going on right now with the pandemic as well,

Is that it's a lesson.

And we weren't learning the lesson.

Of course,

The universe was like,

All right,

If they're not going to learn the lesson in an easy way,

Then I'm going to have to give them a difficult lesson.

And all of us sitting at home right now wondering where the world is going to,

We're experiencing that difficult lesson right now,

Because we refuse to listen the first 300 times or whatever it might be.

The universe was like,

All right,

This is it.

I need to give them the lesson a better,

More meaningful way and a little bit more harsh so that they actually end up listening.

They actually listen and make changes rather than ignoring it like they always do.

So that's my perspective on this.

And I don't know what you guys think about this.

I don't know what you thought about the quote itself.

I'd love to hear your opinion on this,

Of course,

And I'd love to hear your thoughts on what you believe is the reflection and the mirror reflection of everyone being around us.

Do you guys believe that?

Do you not believe it?

Message or comment below and I'd love to hear from you.

Also,

If you have any questions about this,

Obviously comment below and I shall do a follow up video.

Thank you again for listening,

For watching,

And I shall see you the next time around.

Bye for now.

This rings so true for me! Thank you. I’ve had a few of those hard lessons by not “getting it” right away😇

I do believe others are just reflections of us. Mirrors.
