Recently, I turned 37, and I realized that I didn't really have 37 things to share with my listeners, but just three little things. Seemingly minor, and small, but extremely powerful, I carry these lessons in my pocket wherever I go.

Hello everyone!

I hope that you're doing amazing wherever you are in the world.

My name is Bloomshekha and I welcome you to my channel.

I hope that the noise of the cicadas behind me doesn't really bother you that much.

It's mating season for them so you know they're doing their dance and singing their song and I actually really like it.

I think it's very soothing but I hope it's not too much too much noise for all of the empaths that are listening to this and the highly sensitive people.

In this one I wanted to kind of do a look a little bit of a recap of a few things that I've learned from 37 years of being on this planet.

Now of course there's hundreds of things I've learned hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of things I've learned but I've kind of culled them down into three major learnings that I kind of carry with me every single day everywhere that I go.

Three learnings that I really want to embody,

Really really embody them in a way that I become these learnings.

I'm still trying to do that.

I think sometimes I remember them and I'm able to embody them.

Sometimes it's a little bit more difficult but of course these are important learnings for me and I really always am constantly reminding myself especially when I feel like I'm falling off the path I kind of bring myself back to these three learnings.

They're gonna probably seem very blasé and boring to you if you listen to them but literally these are the three things that have changed my life.

I mean there's lots of other things obviously but these are three major things that have really shaped the way I kind of look at the world and now and the way I live in the world right now.

I have still a long way to go and a long learning process left behind me in front of me and there's lots more that I have to learn for sure but these three things I think I want to take with me no matter where I go.

You're probably thinking three things what three things?

No I'm just kidding.

So the first thing that I wanted to say that I've said many times before is that I've noticed more and more so every single time I do anything that the little things matter more than the big things and it's a very boring way to say it I guess but that is literally as I said the most important things I learned every single time I do anything.

I always think oh I'm gonna do this I'm gonna do that I'm gonna do all these bravado macho crazy things but then I actually end up doing the thing whatever the project might be I noticed that the little things in it matter more than the big things.

For example and it's a very simple example in my yoga practice every day I'm always thinking to myself I want to do this huge practice here I'm gonna do an hour and a half of yoga today I'm gonna do an hour and a half of meditation today I'm gonna do this and that but I'm gonna actually come down to the practice and I do one or two things one or two or four or five things but small but with big impact I noticed that they have a bigger impact than me kind of pretending like I'm gonna do an hour and a half of meditation but not actually doing it.

It matters more that I do half an hour or 15 minutes even of meditation every single day for years on end rather than thinking or believing that I'm gonna do an hour and a half every single day or an hour and a half once a week.

The problem with this is like we always think that the big things matter most right like we think that if you want to make an impact we want to make a huge impact we want to create or change the lives of hundreds thousands of people millions of people but when we're actually doing things it's the small things that actually really matter most because it begins with the small things and you have to start with the small things.

These YouTube videos that I do it starts off with each video each video I do I do it and I put it out there and that's it I don't think about okay I'm gonna get millions of subscribers and then I'm gonna do this and that that's the big thing but I don't have to worry about that because the small things that I do every single day for the channel will take care of the big things.

We always want to move on to the big things first but I realized for myself is that I really want to bring myself back to the small things first the little things not unimportant but it's little they're small they're miniscule maybe you're looking at them you're like no this is not gonna change anything.

A very simple example of this is flossing really flossing is like the simplest thing in the world it takes two minutes a minute maybe it's not that big but it's very impactful in your overall health and you can read that about it over and over and over again it impacts your heart health impacts your overall gum health obviously and impacts your digestive system and impacts a lot of different things they don't realize it's a small thing but big impact right and I noticed a lot of this kind of plays out in the rest of my life as well so little things matter more than the big ones.

I've kind of also realized that and this is a very mundane probably saying that you've heard a billion times before but I've been realizing it more and more the more I the older I get that happiness is not to be found outside somewhere with someone buying something or whatever it might be it's not found out there somewhere but it is within you all the time it's always there within you it's there and it's there and you just can't find it because you're looking in the wrong places and it's there within you and all you need to do is just come back to that space within you and realize that you're already happy with the way things are in this present moment and that's the thing about happiness I've done so many random things looking for it I'm sure you've heard all of my stories or some of them and you know I traveled all over the world I kind of moved from place to place I've been into many relationships I drunk a lot of alcohol you know I ate a lot of delicious food and I was always like oh this is gonna make me happy oh no it didn't okay cool maybe that will make me happy oh maybe not maybe the next thing will make me happy and constantly the process has been or the world has been telling me okay you know you're not learning the lesson you're not gonna be happy with that item out there you're gonna have to come back to within yourself and this obviously is a huge lesson of meditation because that's what meditation teaches that's why I love meditations because it literally just brings you back into your Center you're like oh right this is what I was looking for it this is what I was missing I'm going out there but that's not where I'm gonna find what I'm looking for here this is where I'm gonna find what I'm looking for very simple lesson anything about it actually and even speaking it out loud you're like wow that's embarrassing really that's what you've learned in 37 years but seriously this has been a life-changing lesson for me particularly because I know now that I don't have to go out there for happiness it's here it's in within me whenever I'm like oh this is some things irking me are I'm irritable or I feel angry about something or I sad about something I can always feel that inner sense of happiness and that inner sense of stability that peace that that contentment is always there within me all of these things might be happening on the surface like I'm going through all these crazy things and my life is chaotic but I can always come back to the center and realize ah that centerpiece of me that that part of me that that content part of me is always just serene and stable and of course that's the reason why you meditate every single day right you even though your life might be going insane you come back to your meditation practice and then you realize okay no right I'm still happy on the inside that that part of me that deep part of me still content still stable still serene even though all that stuff is going on out there I'm still happy right and so you start noticing I noticed even now when like all of this those things are happening around me and like life feels like ah you know you kind of feel a bit panicky I can still notice throughout all of that there's this deep part within me that's just serene is just happy and chilled out and content no matter what's going on around me outside and I always just go back to that part and be like oh right everything is okay because that part is still there and it's still stable and serene and happy the last lesson that I wanted to share that I found extremely important that I've been learning a lot actually over the last couple of years is that I don't the point of life is not to rush around looking for something to make yourself complete you're already complete I'm already complete as I am you're already complete as you are the point isn't to rush around looking for something but the point is actually to be still to be relaxed and to realize they already have everything that you need you already are everything that you want very you are everything that you could possibly want to be and you just need to be present through every experience that happens even though you're trying to rest your life you have to realize that come back here here's where life happens in this present moment right now as I'm sitting here on this beautiful summer day and it's cloudy and gorgeous this is where life happens point isn't to rush her on looking for it somewhere out there it seems very similar to the second lesson but really it's about the rushing part of life that I really I want to make that emphasis because I've noticed that I do that a lot I rush through life I rushed through all of the moments of my life and then I'm lying in bed at night and I'm thinking to myself what what was I doing rushing on my day were why was I rushing from my own life what was my again wanting to get to why am I rushing to my life to get to what point of my life where am I am I wanting to get to that Iocol mylist where am i nap my right my r MC gonna okay and this kinda like all the time something message where my why im rushing why am I why am I hurrying success other part of my life am I wanting to get to and then I'll get there and I'll still be rushing through there right and so this rushing from place to place from time to time from present moment to present moment like not being present at all skipping all the present moments and always living in the future or the past that in itself is what I really don't appreciate the way I do things right and so I'm constantly trying to remind myself the point isn't to rush through life through every moment but to be present to be still to be so present to each experience that even just sitting around in a boring lineup in airport or in a bank lineup it's still you're so present that you're like I'm just gonna really experience this moment because this is life this is life it's not somewhere out there it's not somewhere later it's not somewhere in the future but this here right now in this moment as you're sitting or standing listening to this this is life yeah this here this moment and I'm constantly kind of trying to bring myself back because I do rush through some of my days sometimes and I'm like why did I do that what was the point of it where was I trying to get to yeah so those are the three things that I kind of really want to share with you I'm maybe you're listening to this and thinking wow these seem like very mundane and blase blah kind of learnings but I have to say for me particularly as I'm just sitting here being alive for 37 years and I'm very grateful for my life obviously I do notice that these three lessons are coming up over and over again as paramount as crucial to what I want to accomplish in life what how I want to live my life so I hope this was helpful I hope that this made sense to you and if you agree or disagree obviously comment below and we should have a conversation about it thank you so much for listening thank you for being on my channel I really appreciate your support and I shall see you the next time around bye for now
