Allow yourself to relax a little deeper now.
There is nothing you need to do,
Nothing you need to achieve.
Simply feel.
Feel the weight of your body being held by the earth beneath you,
By gravity itself.
Let your muscles receive permission to soften.
If there is any tightness in the jaw,
Allow it to unclench.
If the shoulders are carrying effort,
Let them gently drop,
As if they no longer need to protect,
Or perform.
Bring your awareness to the natural rhythm of your breath.
You do not need to change it,
Just observe how the body breathes when it feels safe.
With every exhalation,
Imagine the nervous system loosening its grip,
Like a knot slowly remembering how to untie itself.
Thoughts may arise,
But you do not need to follow them.
Let them pass like clouds across a vast sky.
As the body relaxes,
The mind begins to follow,
And as the mind softens,
The body feels even more at ease.
Allow yourself to rest in this in-between space,
Not asleep,
Not awake,
But deeply present.
Here discipline is not required,
Control is not needed.
This is a space of surrender,
Where relaxation happens naturally when you stop resisting it.
Remain here,
Held,
Safe,
At rest.
Now slowly bring your attention back to your physical body.
Become aware of the space around you,
The temperature of the air on your skin,
The subtle sounds in the distance and nearby.
Feel the weight of your body once again,
Where it meets the floor,
The mat,
The earth beneath you.
Begin to notice your breath.
Take a deep breath in,
And a long breath out.
With this breath,
Invite a gentle movement back into your body,
Small movements,
Wiggling the fingers,
The toes,
Soft rotations of the wrists or ankles if it feels natural.
There is no rush.
Sense how you feel now compared to when you first arrived here.
Notice any shifts in the body,
In the breath,
And in the mind.
When you feel ready,
Allow a deeper breath in,
And as you exhale,
Let the eyes slowly open.
Carry this quality of awareness with you,
Not as an effort,
But as remembrance.
The stillness you touched is not left behind.
It moves with you,
Into your next breath,
Your next step,
Your next moment.
Take your time.
You are here.
