Hello you,
Good morning.
Welcome to this short guided meditation.
This meditation is intended to help you wake up slowly and gently and support you in easing into your day,
Feeling more grateful and motivated.
You can do this meditation right after you wake while still in bed.
Just try not to fall back asleep.
Let's begin.
Simply feel your body as it is lying on the bed.
Feel your body from head to toe and just notice how the body is feeling this morning.
Notice any sensations in the body.
Maybe there's a sense of feeling refreshed,
Rejuvenated.
Maybe there's also a sense of softness or maybe the body is still feeling quite tired,
Maybe even heavy.
Just scan your body and notice any pleasurable and unpleasurable sensations.
Remain very conscious and notice if you begin to drift off into sleep again.
The invitation is to simply notice how the body feels,
Allowing those sensations without any judgments,
Stories.
Now see if you can remember any dreams you had last night.
Allow your mind to reconnect to the memories of the past night.
Just see if you remember any dreams and see if you remember how you felt during and after the dream.
If you don't remember any dreams that's okay and it's quite common.
Remembering our dreams is something we can practice.
Now let's again feel into the body,
The sensations of the body and if you like you can place your right hand over your heart for the rest of the meditation and let's take a moment to begin to connect with this sense of gratitude.
A sense of gratitude for being alive.
A sense of gratitude for being given the opportunity for another day.
That is what today is.
A new day,
A fresh start,
A new opportunity.
No two days are exactly alike.
While having your hand over your heart see if you can really feel and tap into this sense of gratitude.
Maybe even the sense of aliveness.
See if you can feel this gratitude in your chest and allow any sensations,
Emotions,
Feelings to begin spreading,
Rejuvenating you from head to toe.
You can even imagine a white light that is starting to shine the area of your chest,
Beginning to spread this gratitude and aliveness throughout your entire body,
Infusing your entire being,
Every single part of your body.
Such a miracle that you are here.
Now let's wake up the body more and more.
Allow any movements of the toes,
Feet and fingers.
Roll your head from side to side.
Bring your knees to your chest.
Let's all do a big stretch lengthening the arms and the legs.
You can even put on a little smile if you like.
Invite a little squeal or sigh.
Now it's time to get up and start the new day.
You are ready for this new opportunity,
This new day.
And I will count down from three.
Together we can get up and start refreshed,
Motivated into the day.
