Hello everyone,
Violet here and today we're going to do a guided meditation for the summer solstice,
For Litha,
For midsummer.
So I want you to find yourself in a comfortable position where you can really connect to your body,
Connect to your breath,
Connect to your feelings,
Perhaps close your eyes,
Focus inward.
So take a couple breaths,
Bringing yourself to the present moment.
Start noticing the sensations within your body,
Within yourself at this time.
For the summer solstice,
We are celebrating the sun and the fullness of the sun.
I want you to think about your own inner warmth,
Imagining that you too have a sun inside of yourself that radiates throughout your body with energy,
With warmth,
With power,
With confidence.
I want you to feel the tingles of energy as they move through your body.
Feel that warmth inside of yourself that you generate yourself.
You consume foods that have been blessed by the sun,
Infused by the sun,
And you take them into yourself and then you too become a part of the sun and you radiate the sun throughout your body.
Feel the gratitude for that incredible miracle that's always happening and experience that within you.
So I want you to follow the energy as it moves through you and think about where it might be radiating from,
In the center of energy,
This sphere.
Sense what colors it may be,
How it feels within you,
Where it might be located,
Which might be different from person to person.
So following that energy,
Finding its source,
I want you to imagine that sphere of energy,
Of color,
Of light,
Of warmth.
Think about what it may mean depending on where it's located,
Perhaps in your heart,
Perhaps in your stomach.
I feel this ball of light near my solar plexus,
Which is around the middle of my chest.
I feel this ball of light around my heart,
Around my stomach.
I feel this ball of light near my solar plexus,
Which is around the stomach area.
You can connect to it and imagine that inner sun.
Take a moment just to let that spot radiate throughout your body and feel yourself as a sun in your own entirety.
Think about how you can radiate that light from yourself as a sun to others,
Warm others,
Nourish others,
But how first it starts within.
It's about connecting and cultivating that within.
Think about what colors radiate from your central sun,
Perhaps a rainbow of colors,
Perhaps golden light.
Think about if you identify some sort of sound or vibration that accompanies this energy as it flows out of you.
You can imagine the symphony of sound,
Light being vibration,
Sound being vibration,
And how all of your experiences have made up this light,
Have generated this light.
Just as you digest that food we were talking about that has been blessed by the sun,
Created and nourished by the sun,
Infused with the sun from plants,
From fruits.
Just as you do that,
Your own experiences,
You digest your experiences and you turn them into light.
So you can be grateful for the light that you're radiating.
Now I want you to connect deeper within this inner sun,
Really travel into it,
Into the center of it,
And realize that in a way it's like a portal.
This inner sun can be a portal to the outside world.
It can be a portal to the inside world.
You can be a portal to the outside world.
You can be a portal to the inside world.
You can be a portal to the outside world.
You can be a portal to the inside world.
You can be a portal to the outside world.
You can be a portal to the inside world.
You can be a portal to the outside world.
You can be a portal to the inside world.
You can be a portal to the outside world.
And with this feeling of unity and oneness,
I want you to feel comforted.
You're never alone.
So wrap yourself in this warm light that radiates from you.
Feel comforted.
You can imagine this light as a warm blanket around yourself,
Or you can imagine it as a rainbow radiating from yourself and shining upon all that you encounter,
Whatever you need in the moment.
And now begin to connect yourself once again to your breath and bring yourself back to your space.
Perhaps open your eyes.
