Blessed Mabin and welcome to this fall equinox guided meditation.

Go ahead and bring yourself to a position where you feel most grounded,

Maybe a sitting position or lying down and really let your energy sink into the earth below.

And begin to align yourself with the energy of the earth.

You can breathe in and breathe out.

Think about where we're at right now in this wheel of the year.

And right now the days and nights are equally balanced.

So see if you can find that own sense of balance in your own spirit,

In your own energy.

A really good way to do this is to think about the energy recently,

Your output of energy and your input of energy.

Where have you been putting your energy and where do you receive your energy?

And think for a moment about how those things can be more balanced.

Because it's very important as we're moving from the outgoing,

Productive,

Lively energy of the summer months into the more inward reflective resting energy of the winter months.

And as the light infuses life force energy into the plants and then they grow during the summer and they nourish our bodies as we eat them after the harvest here at this time.

And,

You know,

Perhaps you've made a feast for Mabin or just whatever you're eating today.

If you're eating it with intention and gratitude and thinking about that,

That energy that comes from the sun.

So too have we been putting our energy outward,

Making it vibrant,

Growing the things in our life that we want to have and put our energy towards.

And now is the time to kind of stick,

Take stock of those things that you've been growing throughout this year and think about how you're going to use them to nourish yourself through the winter.

So take a moment to come on the alignment with that,

Your sense of balance and take stock of your harvest of the year,

Of everything that you've learned,

Any challenges you've faced,

Any ways you've grown wiser,

Any lessons.

And now with those lessons,

Let's cultivate a sense of gratitude.

One message I wanted to say today is that gratitude doesn't always have to be bubbly and cheerful and optimistic and happy.

You know,

Gratitude can be a state of being that encompasses all emotions.

You don't have to push away the negative emotions,

But rather just find within them the lessons that you've learned,

The growth that you have.

So in this moment of presence,

Of feeling grounded here,

Here in this balanced state,

Feel gratitude for everything this year that has brought you to this moment and really anything in your life that's brought you to this moment.

Feel gratitude for both the good and the challenges and everything in between that has made you who you are in this moment at this time of year.

And feel gratitude to the earth supporting you and anything in your surroundings that make you feel safe and secure.

Really cultivate that sense of safety,

Of security,

Of having an abundance of everything you need,

Of having the nourishing food that you need,

The nourishing thoughts and activities that you need in your life,

The nourishing people around you.

And cultivating that sense of safety,

That sense of security is really important also going into the winter months.

So take a few breaths and really feel this gratitude in your stomach,

In your gut.

Let it fill you up.

You can practice this gratitude with anything that you are eating today.

Like I was saying earlier,

You may have a special meal planned for Mabin and if not,

Then whatever it is that you're consuming,

Do so with gratitude for everything that goes into making the food that you eat to be able to nourish yourself to the greatest ability.

As you care for yourself and moving into a time of great self-care this winter.

Take one more breath in this state,

Then you can begin to bring yourself back.

Take this energy with you as you celebrate today.

Blessed Mabin,

Happy fall equinox.

I hope you have a wonderful time of this year and moving into the next season and onwards as the wheel turns.

Thank you so much for being here and sharing your energy with me.

I'll see you next time.
