Hello everyone.
Today we're going to do a quick tea meditation,
Mindfulness,
With a cup of tea.
I actually have a cup of cacao and I drink this every single day.
So I'm going to take you through what I like to do for mindfulness when I'm drinking a cup of tea.
So to start,
I actually add some drops of this like special elixir.
This one is for third eye chakra.
It's called Lucid Dreams.
It's by High Self Elixirs,
But it's basically a mixture of crystal elixir and herbal tincture.
So it's magical and medicinal.
So I add in one of those specific to my intention.
I've got different chakras for each day.
And if you've got your cup of tea,
Go ahead and hold it in your hands.
Feel the warmth.
Take a breath and smell the smell of your tea and feel gratitude for it.
So we're going to do four breaths and you can do any pranayama practice that you like to do,
Any sort of breath work.
The one that I do is four counts in breathing in four,
Then holding for seven counts and then breathing out eight counts.
It's the four,
Seven,
Eight breath.
And when I do that,
I like to put my intention of what I'm breathing out into the tea itself before I take my first sip.
So we'll do this four times.
And like I said,
You can do any sort of breath practice that you want,
Whether or not you have a cup of tea,
But it certainly is nice to have one.
And each one will have its own intention.
So for your first breath,
Let it just ground and center you.
Let it bring it you to the present moment.
And your second one,
Go ahead and focus on some sort of energetic quality.
I'm focusing on the chakra of today.
So you can choose a chakra.
Mine's the third eye chakra.
So I'm going to imagine that color in my third eye.
So go ahead and choose a chakra or an energetic color or something like that,
That you'd like to embody.
And then you'll breathe that out into your tea.
The next,
You will breathe into your tea,
Your intention for the day.
So take a moment just to decide what your intention of the day is.
It could be just a word,
It could be a goal,
It could be a feeling.
And then we'll breathe that into the tea.
And lastly,
This breath is just for gratitude.
So when you breathe in,
Really let that gratitude fill you up and then breathe that out into your tea.
It could be gratitude for the tea itself,
Like I'm grateful for cacao.
It could be gratitude for anything and everything in your life.
So it's up to you as long as you're feeling it fully in your heart.
So thank you so much for doing this tea meditation with me and I hope that it made your day brighter.
