This track is a little bit wild. I started in one place--abiding with the breath--but then what came up is how the days can feel six years long. But even when that is true, tomorrow is waiting for us.

Hey there.

Now that you are here,

Be here.

Be with this breath in and this breath out.

Give your mind time and space to quiet,

Abide,

Stay with this breath and this one.

Notice with curiosity and kindness your internal landscape.

Maybe you feel teeming or empty.

Maybe you are casting about like a tiny ship on a wild ocean.

Or feel as dry as Death Valley,

Tired and troubled,

Burdened like an ornery mule.

Maybe you feel untethered as if there's nothing holding you here.

Or maybe you feel as if you are being crushed by a brouhaha of stones.

Wherever you are inside,

However you are,

Be,

Abide with this breath and this one.

When your days feel six years long,

When your days feel like a country song,

When your days are a refrain that always feels the same love and pain and you don't know the difference between broken and torn,

Can you be so rooted within?

Can you be true of your song?

Can you be with this breath in and this breath out?

Abide,

Stay,

This breath,

This breath.

When your days feel six years long,

When your days feel like a country song,

When your days are that repeating refrain that's always the same love and pain and you don't know the difference between broken and torn,

Be,

Be rooted,

Be true of your song.

Let your heart and your head talk to one another.

Let them listen to one another.

And always know this,

Tomorrow is waiting for you.

Tomorrow is waiting for your smile.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Tomorrow is waiting for you.

Live light and shine.

A brouhaha of stones resonated with me. Thank you for the reminder to encourage my mind and heart to listen to each other. Thank you for offering this.

poignant and wonderful as always. i love the task of describing internal landscape today i feel stuck on a revolving sushi bar, or like a lizard retreating into a little concrete cave.

WOW! Betsy. Yes my life is like a country song ๐ŸŽต. One day I was talking to co-worker about one of my many life experiences and she said "Randee, you should write a book". This past Saturday I went to a candle making class and ended up getting impaled with a wine glass, and I wasn't even drinking. FML ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Oh pretty lady, I needed these words last evening.. Labor Day Weekend over, back to school and a few leaves wafting down, signs our glorious summer is fading.. My bleak moods aren't far away. Hugz and thx for being you.
