Hey there.
Welcome to a hit of hope.
Have you ever been behind a driver?
And you're pretty sure.
Their left foot.
Is on the brain.
And their right foot is on the gas.
Although,
Depending where you are in the world,
That just occurred to me,
It might be different.
Anyway,
But one foot is on the gas.
One foot is on the brake.
And they go and they stop and they go and they stop.
I was thinking about that recently because I've noticed a speech pattern in some of my friends.
And I think I've even done it once in a while.
It is starting out a response to something that someone else has said.
And that response they start out with.
No yeah.
And to me,
It is kind of those competing energies,
The brake,
The no sort of energy,
And the accelerator,
The yes sort of energy.
And I don't really have an answer for why people might be doing that.
But it got me curious about what life might look like.
If that's the kind of energy we are bringing.
Both this resistance.
.
.
And.
.
.
Welcome!
And maybe for you,
You might notice it when life is particularly uncertain.
Or things have changed.
There might be this resistance.
What is going on?
Who am I now?
A big no.
And at the same time,
Some part of us recognizes.
There's opportunity here.
There's ways.
To say yes.
And see.
What?
Possible.
So this is just a quick.
Dropping in.
To are there places in our lives?
Where we are both putting on the brakes and pressing on the accelerator.
At the same time.
And it doesn't mean we have to Thelma and Louise it through our lives.
Just gun it and go.
No.
Reflection.
Meditation,
Sitting with,
Centering,
Those are all really important things.
And yet are there these moments where the flow wants us to quit paddling against the current?
To turn in the direction.
Of an easy.
Soft,
But real.
Yes.
And I don't know about you,
But as soon as I said that,
My shoulders dropped.
Possibility open.
So.
As we live.
As we move about our days.
It feels like there's an opportunity here.
To explore those moments.
When we both resist and welcome.
To say oh.
That's what's going on here.
Okay.
And now what?
It might be more centering.
It might be some dropping of expectation.
It might be a willingness.
To welcome that change,
The new,
The uncertain.
Because who knows what might happen.
Who knows who we might be?
If we step into this flow.
And trust this time.
And more than that,
Trust ourselves.
To go through this.
To gather the gifts.
To learn the lessons.
As we.
Live light.
And shine.
Take care of you.
