This is an eight-hour overnight immersive rainforest experience, to support deep uninterrupted sleep. Let the continuous rainfall be your acoustic blanket, helping your nervous system to relax and thoughts to quieten. If you stay awake long enough, you'll also hear the rain ease up at times allowing the soothing sounds of birdsong and crickets to filter through. And the occasional rumble of distant thunder. Rain is great for sleep. Our brain loves the rhythmic, consistent, predictable pitter-patter of rain. It's a cue for safety, a signal to the nervous system to relax. We also associate rain with cosiness, relaxation, being tucked up comfortably inside somewhere. It also naturally replicates pink noise, which is perfect for masking jarring, sudden, or inconsistent noises. Listening to rain not only helps with insomnia but focus too; it's a great study tool. Tip: lower the volume a bit, and you’ll get a lower frequency of sound which you may find more soothing.
