Today's Yoga Nidra has been designed to help us all connect with the energy of manifestation and abundance,
Allowing us to open ourselves to all the possibilities that are out there and to align us with the flow,
The flow of prosperity into all areas of our life.
And by prosperity,
I don't necessarily limit that to financial,
Although that would obviously be great,
But anything that enriches our experience of being a human being and alive on the planet right now,
Whether that's a new job,
A new relationship,
New opportunities to have fun,
Hobbies,
Artistic and creative endeavors,
All of these things,
All of these things I would call prosperous.
And hopefully this meditation will open the channels to allow more of that energy flow to come in,
To come into our lives and to support us in manifesting a life that we really want.
One that's abundant and comfortable and one that we really enjoy on a day-to-day basis.
So I invite you to find a comfortable position,
Lying down with your body fully supported.
This practice can also be done in a chair.
Allow your eyes to softly close and take a deep breath in,
Followed by a slow,
Gentle exhale.
Feel that solid surface of the floor or the chair supporting your whole body,
Allowing you to relax deeper and deeper levels.
Take another deep breath in,
Followed by another slow,
Gentle exhale.
Now you can allow your breathing to return to a natural resting rhythm and depth.
Notice the soft rising and falling of the chest and the belly,
The gentle expansion and contraction of the ribcage.
Notice where you're holding the body and where you are holding the body,
Simply let go of that holding and let the body find a shape and a position that it wants to.
Maybe your toes are flopping out to the side,
Maybe your fingers are slightly curled inwards.
Just let the body find the shape that it wants to,
Again,
Feeling that solid surface of the floor beneath you,
Supporting you.
Feeling supported,
Allow any tension that you're feeling to be released,
Just what you're able to release.
Let that tension simply float away or sink into the ground,
Breathe it out,
Whatever works for you,
But releasing what tension you're able to.
The body is nice and relaxed,
Warm,
Safe,
Comfortable.
Now bring your awareness to the very top of your head,
Imagine a warm golden light resting the very top of your head,
Gently melting away any tension.
Allow this soothing light to flow across your scalp,
Relaxing every hair follicle and muscle.
Now bring your attention to your forehead,
Feel the space here soften as this light,
This golden light gently smooths away any tightness.
Let this feeling of relaxation flow into the temples,
Releasing any pressure.
Feel your eyebrows and the tiny muscles around your eyes soften completely.
Notice your cheeks,
Your jaw,
The area around your mouth.
Allow these areas to relax deeply,
Letting go of any tension that you might be holding.
Let your tongue just rest softly in your mouth,
And if it's comfortable,
Allow there to be a slight parting between the teeth to relax the jaw.
Move your awareness now to your neck and throat,
Imagine this golden light flowing here,
Loosening and relaxing the muscles.
Feel your shoulders soften,
Releasing any heaviness or burden that they might be carrying.
Now bring your awareness to your arms,
Feel the relaxation travel from the shoulders down the upper arms,
Through your elbows,
Forearms and wrists,
All the way to your hands and fingers.
Imagine the light filling your fingertips,
Radiating warmth,
Relaxation,
Free from tension.
Shift your focus to your chest,
Feel the gentle rise and fall of your breath.
Imagine your heart space glowing with a warm light,
Radiating a calm and peaceful feeling throughout your body.
Bring your attention to your upper back,
Feeling it soften and release.
Let this relaxation flow down your spine,
Vertebrae by vertebrae,
Through the middle of your back and into the lower back.
Feel your entire back supported and at ease.
Now focus on your belly,
Allow it to soften completely,
Letting go of any tightness or tension that you might be holding there.
Feel the warmth of this golden light spreading across your abdomen,
Bringing a sense of comfort and ease.
Move your awareness to your hips and pelvis and feel this area release and sink deeper into the surface beneath you.
Imagine this warm golden light gently soothing any tightness,
Allowing complete relaxation.
Bring your focus to your legs,
Starting at the top of your thighs,
Feeling the relaxation flow downwards through your knees,
Shins and calves.
Imagine any tension melting away as the golden light fills these spaces.
Direct your attention to your feet,
Feel the relaxation flow through your ankles,
Tops and the soles of your feet,
All the way to your toes.
Imagine the light radiating through your feet and into the earth,
Grounding you completely.
Now take a moment to feel your entire body,
From the crown of your head,
Down to the tips of your toes.
Feel your whole body deeply relaxed,
Fully supported,
Comfortable and at ease.
Allow yourself to rest here for a moment in complete stillness.
Now turn your attention to your breath.
Notice the natural rhythm of your inhale and exhale.
With each breath,
Imagine yourself drawing in light and energy.
With every exhale,
Release any heaviness or doubt.
Continue this for a few cycles,
Breathing in possibility,
Breathing out anything that no longer serves you.
Now in your mind's eye,
Imagine yourself standing in a lush,
Vibrant garden.
The air is warm,
Filled with the scent of flowers in full bloom.
The garden is magical,
Has a sense of power and mystery around it.
Above you,
The sky is bright and open.
You feel a deep sense of peace and connection to the world around you.
In this magic garden,
Everything you could ever desire grows abundantly.
Look around and notice the beauty,
The colours,
The richness of this space.
There's no scarcity here,
Only limitless possibility and boundless abundance.
As you walk through the garden,
You see a tree,
Golden fruits shimmering on its boughs in the sunlight.
This tree represents the abundance waiting for you in your life.
Each fruit symbolises something that you wish to manifest.
Joy,
Love,
Success,
Health,
Wealth or any other aspiration that you might have.
Take a moment to choose the golden fruit from the tree.
Hold it in your hands and feel its warmth,
Energy radiating from its core.
Imagine it glowing with the energy of your dreams and desires.
Bring to mind something that you wish to manifest,
Something that feels meaningful and aligned with your heart for your highest good.
See this desire as a clear image or feeling and infuse the golden fruit with this intention.
Now find a clear space in the garden and imagine planting the fruit in the rich soil.
As you do,
See it sprouting roots and beginning to grow.
Watch as it flourishes,
Blossoming into something magnificent.
Feel a deep sense of trust that your intention is taking root in the universe.
Know that just like this tree,
Your desires will grow in their own perfect time.
As you rest in this garden,
Silently repeat the following affirmations to yourself.
I am open to receiving abundance in all forms.
I trust in the flow of the universe to support my desires.
I am worthy of my dreams and intentions.
I manifest prosperity with ease and joy.
I manifest prosperity with ease and joy.
Feel the energy,
The truth of these affirmations resonating within you.
It's time to leave the garden.
Turning back knowing that your tree will be perfectly cultivated and nourished.
Coming back to the sensation of your breath.
Again,
Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest.
Feel the surface beneath you and the space around you.
Air against your skin.
Sense of your body's weight lying on the floor or sitting in a chair.
Start to bring movement to your fingers and toes.
Gently waking up your body.
Now taking a moment to bring whatever movements you need to come back to a full waking state of consciousness.
Knowing that you carry this energy of abundance within you.
And when you feel ready,
Slowly opening your eyes,
Returning to the physical space around you.
