Begin by closing the eyes gently and ensuring that you are physically comfortable.
As you close your eyes,
You can begin to breathe using your breath as a point of focus or connection to you,
Your own energy and this moment now.
As you breathe,
We can also hold an intention to connect to the heart simply through affirming this connection now.
You may like to place your hands on your heart or see and feel the energy of the breath flowing in and out of the heart space.
You can affirm,
I connect with my heart now.
Begin to enter the present moment even more deeply by noticing the sounds that you hear around you,
The sound of this meditation,
Perhaps the sound of the breath,
Simply acknowledging what it is that you hear through your awareness.
You might then begin to also notice your sense of touch,
What it is that you feel right now.
We want to notice a neutral sensation such as clothes against the skin or the weight of whatever you have seated upon beneath you,
Allowing yourself to acknowledge what you feel.
And as you feel ready,
You can begin to gradually open the eyes and also notice your current now,
This now moment visually,
Taking in your now surroundings once more and acknowledging what it is that you see,
Perhaps objects in the room,
Perhaps your own hand placed in front of you,
Whatever it is that you see.
And now you can notice that you are fully arrived into the here and now,
Connected to your energy and your heart through the power of the now moment,
Your intention and your own spirit.
