When we practice the act of clear intention,

We open ourselves up more fully to a life of meaningful purpose.

Making a conscious effort to set a clear intention for each day will allow you to internally embody your highest version of self through aligning with your values,

Personal thoughts,

And perspectives.

So I invite you to find a comfortable seat in a quiet spot,

One where you can have a few minutes to focus.

Perhaps it might be helpful to grab a journal and a pen or pencil to keep by your side if you would like to jot some thoughts down as we go.

Eyes can remain open or you can close them,

Whichever feels best for you.

Begin to clear the mind and align with the breath,

Inhaling in through the nose and releasing the exhale out through the nose.

Settling into the body,

Sit up straight elongating your spine and relaxing your shoulders down away from your ears.

Balancing on your sit bones by distributing your weight equally on both sides of the body.

Inhaling in through the nose,

Exhaling out through the nose.

Take a few moments to check in with how you are feeling today.

What is your mood?

Embrace whatever surfaces for you.

Are you allowing yourself to be in a relaxed state of gratitude and flow?

Are you feeling open to creating meaningful purpose by bringing both heart and mind into alignment through the act of clear intention?

An intention is a feeling or action in which one has the desire to embody internally.

Our intentions are what will create our reality through perception.

Intentions are powerful.

So as you take several deep inhales in,

This time exhaling out through the mouth,

Reflect on each of the following questions.

How do you want to show up today?

What type of qualities would you like to embody?

How do you want to feel?

What intention,

If any,

Comes to mind for the day that you would be proud to commit to through aim,

Purpose,

Or attitude?

As you remain mindful of the breath,

Acknowledge the answers that resonated most to you.

And now I invite you to go ahead and set your intention for the day.

It could be a simple word that you would like to embody or align with,

Such as peace,

Love,

Compassion,

Or freedom.

Or rather an internal action,

Such as staying calm,

Steady,

And focused,

Acting with courage,

Connecting with others,

Or embracing change.

Take a few moments of self-reflection to decide what intention resonates most with you today.

Perhaps creating a personal intention,

One that is specifically tailored to you.

Once your intention has been set,

Commit to your actions,

Attitude,

And thoughts throughout the day,

Supporting and reflecting this through mindful awareness and meaningful purpose.

Confirm this intention as so,

As you take a deep breath in,

And exhale it out.

If the eyes are closed,

You can blink them open as you prepare to move through the rest of your day.

You can repeat this meditation as a daily practice,

Or anytime you feel compelled to set a daily intention.

I hope the remainder of your day is filled with grace,

Flow,

And a sense of meaningful purpose.

The light within me honors the light within you.

Namaste.
