Greetings,
It's Barbara J.
Face and your meditation ambassador.
Sometimes all we need is a good shake to shake off whatever is going on in our body.
It's a reset.
So let's do this shake it out and breathe reset practice.
You wanna join me?
I want you to shake your entire body and take loud breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth as you shake.
It's gonna sound like this.
Ah.
Yes,
You're gonna shake it up and out and feel free to laugh if you need to.
Are you ready?
Let's do it.
Starting from your upper body,
Shake your head.
Now move your shoulders.
Ah.
Shake your arms.
Ah.
Your hands.
Ah.
Ah.
Keep shaking.
Your upper torso.
You can put a little bouncing in with your legs.
Now shake your hips and keep your upper torso moving as well.
Let's kick your legs out.
Ah.
Ah.
And if you're able to take a few stomps with your feet on the ground,
Do that too.
And do it with your whole body.
Ah.
Now let's return to stillness and notice how you feel.
You might feel tangling or movement in your body because you shook some things loose.
So now I invite you to place your hands stacked on top of each other right in the center of your chest.
This is your energetic heart center.
We'll take 10 deep breaths through the nose and out through the mouth with loud verbal exhales like this.
Ah.
We'll do that 10 times.
I'll do the counting and you can do the breathing and the sound effects.
Are you ready?
Let's go.
Breathe in and out.
Ah.
Breathe in and out.
Ah.
Breathe in and out.
Ah.
Breathe in and out.
Ah.
Breathe in and out.
Ah.
Breathe in and out.
Ah.
Breathe in and out.
Ah.
Breathe in and out.
Ah.
Breathe in and out.
Ah.
Last one deep breath in and out.
Ah.
Relax your hands and take a moment to notice how you feel right now in this present moment.
I hope you enjoyed this shake it out and breathe practice.
You can do this any time during the day when you just need a quick reset for your mind,
Body and spirit.
Feel free to leave a comment,
Reflection or observation after listening.
I love to hear from you.
Take good care,
Be kind to yourself and be well.
