A few weeks ago,
In Week 9,
I mentioned embracing change,
Which,
If you've lived any life,
You know is the only constant you can count on.
In July 2023,
I started a part-time job as a library assistant at my local library.
My father was a librarian at one of the local high schools as well as the neighborhood I grew up in.
Just a little background information and I know that really informed my love of reading,
Books,
And learning.
At our library in Stockbridge,
Georgia,
We are a passport processing facility.
When I first started,
I was asked if I was interested in becoming a passport agent.
I declined because I only worked 20 hours a week and I was also heading up the crochet group,
Which met twice a month,
And the seniors computer class that met once a week.
I felt like that was enough.
Well,
Here comes the change.
Our director mandated that everyone that worked at our branch needed to be certified in processing passports.
So,
All of us had to go through the training.
We have all completed and passed our training and,
Like most things in life,
We gain our confidence by doing.
And I'm also a believer that it's important to remind myself of who I am and my abilities.
I've been using some form of affirmation since the 1990s.
Just thinking about the 90s makes me laugh.
I've created quite a few affirmation tracks.
Here's one I've been listening to to remind me to be confident.
I hope you enjoy these affirmations for confidence.
Place your hands in your heart space area.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
You can keep your eyes open or close them if you prefer.
Repeat after me.
I am enough and worthy of love.
I feel strong and wise.
I am able to accomplish anything I set my mind to.
I relax and listen for the right next steps.
I trust myself more than I ever have.
I am willing to be courageous in all situations.
I am able to accomplish great things.
I love feeling strong and confident.
My confidence is overflowing and I am grateful.
Trusting myself comes natural to me.
I trust the process of life.
I feel strong and capable.
All is well in my world.
I own my talents,
Abilities,
Gifts,
And skills.
I am wise and make the best decisions in the moment.
I love myself.
I radiate love and joy wherever I go.
I am loving.
I am loved.
I am strong.
I am lovable.
The right resources are lining up to help me right now.
My body exudes confidence.
Also keep in mind if you don't feel comfortable saying I am,
You can always put the word willing.
I am willing to trust my inner guidance.
Just put the word willing in and allow yourself to develop the confidence you desire.
I am wise and make the best decisions in the moment.
And I am enough and worthy of love are two of my favorites from this track.
What about you?
Did any of the affirmations stand out to you?
If so,
Leave a comment where you're listening to this podcast.
I'd love to know.
