Welcome to your midday reset.
This meditation may help you relax and refocus.
Let's do a body scan,
Then tune into our senses.
Take time to relax and close your eyes if that feels comfortable to you.
First,
Starting at the top of your head,
Imagine your body melting like a candle.
Tuning into your forehead and scalp.
Notice the muscles around your eyes,
Ears,
And jaw.
Letting them melt down.
Relaxing your tongue.
Allowing it to be heavy.
Noticing your neck and throat.
Bringing that attention to your shoulders.
Relaxing them down to your elbows,
Wrists,
And through your hands and fingers.
Notice your upper back and chest.
Bringing that energy to your breath.
Notice your inhale and exhale.
Checking in with your mid and lower back.
Your stomach and belly.
Relaxing your hips down to your upper legs.
Be mindful of your knees.
Melting the muscles of your lower legs to your ankle.
The top of your feet.
Than the bottom of your feet.
As you are tuning inward.
Notice anything you taste or smell.
What you hear around you.
The temperature of the room.
Where your skin touches your clothes.
The chair that is supporting your back and legs.
Taking time to slowly,
Gently open your eyes.
Tuning into textures,
Colors,
And light around you.
Before you get up and go.
Check in with your heavy tongue.
Relax shoulders.
Slow breath.
Grounded Feet and your surroundings.
Take care and enjoy the rest of your day.
