You You This simple exercise is an effective way To help you to learn to love yourself This meditation can be done before going to bed as it will gently help you to fall asleep and to let the words of peace and love gently seep into your subconscious mind By repeating this practice as often as you need,
You will begin to start each day in a more joyful state of mind So lie down now if you haven't already,
In a nice comfortable position And close your eyes Now notice if you could be just 5 or even 10% more comfortable And gently shift your body into whatever position you need However you find yourself is absolutely fine Notice now your thoughts and how your body feels right now As you begin to slowly relax Now take one deep breath in slowly through your nose And exhale through your mouth with a gentle ah sound And again take a deep breath in slowly through your nose And exhale with an ah through your mouth And one last time,
Breathe in cool fresh air slowly through your nose And exhale warm air out on an ah through your mouth Now let your body breathe at its own natural pace Breathing in and out Let your chest just rise and fall with each breath Relax Each time you exhale you let go of a little bit of tension from your body Each time you exhale your body becomes a little bit heavier Notice if any areas of your body are tense Then simply breathe into these areas Imagine these areas becoming more and more relaxed with each breath As you breathe in,

You breathe in warmth,
You breathe in love And you breathe in peace into all areas of tenseness Each inhale nourishes every cell of your body Each exhale releases tension and stress from the day Simply inhale relaxation and exhale tension Inhale peace and exhale stress The more you breathe in and the more you breathe out,

Visualise a scene that brings you happiness and relaxation It can be real or imaginary,

Notice how this place makes you feel And breathe in all the wonderful sights,
The sounds and smells of this beautiful place You are completely safe and serene here How does that feel?
Notice now that the feeling of calm and happiness is like a warm golden light that floods everything around you It saturates everything from the sky to the earth As you look down,
You can see the warm golden light is flowing from your toes up to your head Yes,
Even you are bathed in this beautiful golden light You are bathed in a golden light of warmth and love As you breathe,
You breathe in this golden light into each cell of your body Each breath of golden light rejuvenates you You can feel your body glow from within And your mind knows that you are love Repeat these affirmations in your mind now I am safe,
