This track invites you on a reflective journey into the layers of identity we all wear, gently reminding us that beneath our everyday personas lies a divine, authentic self. As you listen, you'll be guided to observe and gradually release the habitual voices and masks that obscure your true essence. Rich, natural imagery such as birdsong, rustling leaves, and the quiet beauty of dawn provides a calming backdrop for deep introspection. Ultimately, the meditation encourages a mindful, loving awareness that allows these illusions to dissolve, paving the way for a clearer connection with your inner light.

We shall begin this practice by acknowledging that each and every one of us is God in drag.

Really allow that idea to sink into you.

You are,

We are God in drag.

These words emanating from the late Ram Dass,

God in drag,

And in drag meaning that we have all sorts of layers of characters that we place on our gentle soul to play the game of life.

And so in this moment I am offering you the realization that one of these layers,

One of these characters,

One of these egoic structures or voices that you are complete with can go and you're already tuning into that.

If you are really dropping in with me you are already starting to see the character that I'm pointing to in your unique makeup of characters.

So if you're seeing a particular part of you as you listen to these words allow yourself to acknowledge that part and in a way allow yourself to loosen the grip of that particular voice now loosening the grip of a particular voice.

How do we do that?

It's not a doing.

How do we loosen the grip of a particular character or costume?

It's not a doing,

It's a noticing that oh I play this character a lot or maybe a little and I'm going to play this character less now.

So what's that character for you?

Maybe name it,

Maybe you can see it,

Maybe you can even dissolve it in your mind's eye if you're good at visualizing.

Maybe you can see that particular part of you,

That character in you,

Maybe you can witness that character in you dissolve,

Maybe turn black and white instead of in color,

Maybe allow that particular character to be witnessed in the distance of your mind's eye as opposed to in the forefront of your mind's eye.

How can you using your apparatus create space between you,

Your god self and the character,

The drag,

Queen or king,

The the fabrication of creation.

When I say a fabrication of creation of course everything is creation,

Anything we create can be beautiful and yet here in these moments we are acknowledging a part of us that is choosing to be released and it is as we continue to bring awareness to this part of you all that's really needed.

It is through the light of loving awareness that we dissolve the illusions and on the other side of the dissolving of the illusions there's just more of an opportunity now to be more of one's god self,

To be more of the light that is here without the stories and trips of trickery that cloud our way and cloud our vision.

I was just reminded this morning of the path and the way and how often you know that you're on the right path as you are blooming and flowering into a deeper expression of self when you don't know the way.

You no longer know what is happening or about to happen and you are paving something new it's not clear.

And so if you already know that's great.

Maybe you do not know and that's great too.

Maybe you think you know but you don't really know and that's worth the introspection,

It's worth the contemplation,

It's worth sitting in a dark room to really feel in and tune into what does my heart say.

How does our heart speak when this character or egoic identity or formation of structure in our mind that was maybe created when we were younger to protect ourself for a myriad of many reasons,

When it when that goes when that dissolves as it's dissolving more and more as you listen to these words.

How does your heart want to sing?

Because when we are creating this space for something else it's usually easier to listen to what's inside us not in the abstractions of mind but what's really inside us what's really inside when we slow down what's going on inside us what's really there.

And I hope these moments here are giving you a short glimpse into seeing what's really going on in there and amongst the intense overstimulation that you may usually find on the platforms and the social media in this moment I'm just surrounded by birds singing and a cockerel in the distance cuckooing and I can hear the the very light rustling of the leaves of the trees as the wind moves through the valley in front of me.

The dragonflies were alive as well at the front of my house this morning too.

So I'm giving you permission today to find a moment other than now to drop into the nature that is around you however big or small the nature might be if you're in a city connect with your houseplants just go and water them say hi to them maybe get on your balcony or go for a walk in your local park or book a trip to somewhere that is a little bit more flavorsome to the soul.

The thing is there's nothing to teach and yet we teach but we teach by being not by teaching the birds are so alive
