Good morning.

This is Aviva from Forever We Are Mindful.

Today's meditation is focusing on a morning meditation.

We're going to reset for the day through focusing on breath and bringing ourselves into the present moment again and again.

So let's get ready.

Find a comfortable position.

Laying down or sitting up straight with a straight,

Aligned spine.

And when you're ready,

You can either close your eyes or have a soft gaze,

Which is simply focusing on an object in the room that makes you feel comfortable,

Safe,

And peaceful.

It could be a candle,

Perhaps.

So let's begin by focusing in on our breath.

Simply breathing naturally,

Inhale and either exhale through the mouth or the nose,

Letting the chest fall,

The shoulders fall.

And again,

Inhale,

Chest rises.

Shoulders rise towards the ears.

And exhale,

Shoulders fall,

Chest falls,

Belly falls.

Continue this natural flow of breath three to five more times on your own.

Starting your day,

A brand new day full of endless possibilities.

Filling your whole entire being with gratitude,

Your heart with gratitude for this new day we get to live and breathe.

We get to start again every breath we take,

Fully arriving back in the present moment.

Continue that natural flow of breath,

Really focusing on that breath.

The way it fills your nose and flows back to the back of your throat,

And then out through the nose or the mouth,

And notice even perhaps the temperature of that breath.

Notice the inhale,

The exhale,

The way your body flows in synchronicity as you breathe.

Slowly breathing in and slowly breathing out,

Arriving again in the moment with all that's there,

Accepting the moment as it shows up because that's what's meant to be.

Nothing to change as you breathe,

Nothing to fix,

Just is as it is.

Bringing your heart to this moment again and again,

Taking more grateful breaths as we arrive in this new day with an open heart and an open mind.

Starting the morning off with gratitude,

Here and now present with your breath.

Allow that breath to flow naturally,

Here and now.

As you breathe in the present moment,

I'm going to say three positive affirmations to kick your day off in the most positive way.

Let's begin.

Number one,

I am grateful for this new day.

Number two,

Today is a fresh day full of new possibilities.

And lastly,

Number three,

I am present here and now on this new day.

You can repeat these affirmations either out loud or just within your mind as you breathe naturally.

Fill your mind and your body up with this positive energy,

Staying present,

Positive and grateful for this new,

Wonderful day.

Deep breathing,

Three to five more times.

Begin to bring presence back to your body,

Deepening your breaths.

Allow your heart to open,

Your mind to open.

Begin to bring movement to that body,

Wiggling the fingers and the toes.

Let's take one last deep breath together as we close out this good morning meditation.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Have a beautiful day.
