This is Avery Lane and your meditation for the day.
Okay,
Let's get started.
Begin by getting in a comfortable position,
Whether that's sitting or laying down,
Dropping your shoulders away from your ears,
Relaxing your facial muscles,
And begin to come aware of your breath,
Noting the natural rhythm,
The natural rise and fall,
And allowing yourself three long inhalations and exhalations at your own pace.
Through your nose and out your mouth,
Even letting out a big sigh if that's what you desire.
Now let your breath return to its natural rhythm through your nostrils,
Allowing your body to guide your pace.
Begin to take note of all the parts of your body so you can invite the sense of relaxation and groundedness into the present moment.
Relax your facial muscles,
Your forehead,
Your cheeks,
And your mouth,
Dropping your shoulders,
And finding a comfortable place for your palms to rest.
Begin to start appreciating the stillness and the silence,
Being present,
All parts of you,
Relaxing and finding calm.
Once you feel grounded and comfortable in this space,
Begin to visualize your younger self.
Whatever age comes to mind,
We welcome that version of you into this space,
Taking a moment to really make that visual clear,
Noticing what are they wearing,
Their hair,
Their facial features,
Continuing to focus on your breath as you bring this visual in,
Breathing in,
And letting go,
Welcoming that image in a little more with each breath,
And as you look at this younger version of you and they look right back at you,
They smile,
Look up at you in awe at the incredible person you've become.
They are so proud of all of your accomplishments.
These are things that you've previously have only dreamt of and have now made your reality.
Whether those things are big or small,
Your younger self is giving you praise and celebrating all that you have accomplished,
And as your younger self continues to look at you and your life in awe,
Amazement,
And with complete and unwavering love to you,
Begin to recognize how much you have to celebrate right now and right here,
How much there is to be grateful for,
And how deserving of love and celebration you are,
Worthy of right here,
Right now.
Continuing to breathe this in,
Basking in these feelings for a few moments longer,
And finding a sense of peace with where you are in your life,
Loving yourself and appreciating yourself,
Before slowly letting that visual go and returning your awareness back to your body and the space you're in.
Give yourself gratitude and give yourself praise today as you are a magnificent human being with such a beautiful soul.
