Poem: So

In this gentle reading, we reflect on the nature of our deeper wisdom and the need to allow ourselves to move in action informed by the sacredness within each of us. We are in the time now where we must bring our authentic light and love to the world from the truth of who we are - nothing else will serve us properly. Written & Read by John Siddique.

Transcript

So,

For lack of love the world is dying,

And we are unconscious of and separated from each other.

Love is not to be found in the mind,

Yet it can illuminate it.

Love may be in your heart.

The heart is both a vessel of unconsciousness and of light.

But love is the active principle of your spirit.

So listen and love and act from spirit.

Then look at your brothers and your sisters,

People,

Animals and plants.

Listen to the earth in spirit.

Sacredness is not mooning around in a special way.

Let sacredness use your talents and identity.

It's an open hand in motion tending to what is truly needed in the here and now.

I believe I wrote a song called So .. many years ago . It got misplaced in the moves over the years ( who knows maybe in one of my many notebook’s) and so… I remembered you wrote a poem called So .. Thank you for this beautiful reminder. I am hearing and reading this message that ‘we are all one’ everywhere I turn. I’m reflecting deeply on what this means for my life. I’m struggling with loving myself right now and I know that healing that will heal my relationships externally as well.
