So welcome to your pick a card reading for today.
I'm going to shuffle a deck that I have here.
It's called the Everyday Mindfulness Oracle.
And just kind of taking some time to maybe take a seat,
Maybe start to just connect with your breath.
And as you start to settle in,
Seeing if you can just start to maybe come up with the question or they're saying it out loud or in your mind,
How can I be more mindful today?
Just kind of checking in with your openness to that.
And I'm going to just open the deck here.
I'm going to choose three cards.
So taking a moment to just think about which number from one to three is sort of resonating for you.
Maybe as I bring my awareness,
As I bring my hand onto card one,
Maybe just seeing if that sort of feels like the energy you're being pulled to.
So card one,
Card number two.
Again,
Just seeing if this feels like it's maybe your card or card number three.
From those three energies,
Just taking a moment to decide and if you're being pulled towards two,
Then you'll be able to hear them all.
But let's start with card number one.
So if you've chosen card number one,
A mindful practice that you can do today is we got the card in joy.
So card number 19,
What brings you joy and pleasure?
Experience the world through a lens of joy by engaging all of your senses,
Sight,
Sound,
Touch,
Taste and smell.
And as I read that card,
Is there a particular practice or something that you could do today?
Maybe it was just an idea that popped up this morning.
And here you have the validation of what brings you joy and pleasure.
Sight,
So maybe it's maybe you want to watch a movie,
Maybe sound,
Maybe there's music that you want to listen to a particular song.
Touch,
Is there a particular type of fabric or sensation that you enjoy feeling?
Is there something that you want to taste?
So perhaps maybe a snack meal that maybe you're craving,
Or something to do with smells,
Maybe there's an aroma,
Something that will sort of tap into or help you tap into a sense of joy.
So that's card 19.
That was card number one.
Card number two,
If you pick this,
It is card number 22,
Hug.
Wrap your arms around a loved one yourself or pillow.
Show your love and appreciation with a long warm embrace to express more than words ever could.
So who needs a hug today?
Or who do you want to hug?
And when you do give that person a hug or that thing,
Seeing if you can use both arms,
Not just sort of a half,
Half hug,
But really embracing someone as if it's a way to really communicate your appreciation and your love.
So who do you need or want to hug today?
That is card 22.
Card number two.
And then finally,
If you picked card number three,
It is card 25,
Release.
Release pent up emotions responsibly by writing them out,
Exercising,
Crying,
Screaming into a pillow,
Or talking to a trusted friend or professional.
So is there energies?
Is there something that you're holding on to maybe a particular situation that's on your mind?
And instead of allowing it to just fester in your body,
How can you release that?
How can you transmute these sensations?
Screaming into a pillow is something that I love to do.
Especially if you're somewhere where you feel that,
You know,
You can't necessarily use your voice,
But screaming into the pillow,
It just sort of allows that release through your throat chakra.
So if there's anything that was mentioned in this card that resonates,
Or maybe you have another way of releasing,
And again,
Doing it safely,
Making sure that you're safe as you do it.
And yeah,
Maybe on the other side of that,
You'll feel a sense of release.
So that was card number three.
I hope these were helpful.
And know that this is a timeless reading.
So whenever you're listening,
These are mindful practices that you're being nudged towards today.
Thanks for listening.
