Notice any sensations that arise.
Breathe in,
Feeling the breath enter the nose.
Breathe out,
Feeling the breath exit the nose.
Scan through your body with gratitude for everything that it is.
Moving through the face,
Notice the wonderful sounds your ears allow you to hear.
The beautiful sights your eyes let you see.
The smiles and laughter your mouth exudes.
Move into your arms and upper body,
Remembering all the amazing things they have allowed you to carry.
Tune into the lower body and the legs,
Remembering all the adventures they have led you on.
And if there's an area that feels less than or inadequate than another,
Give this area all the love it deserves.
And if there's an area that brings you great joy and comfort,
Breathe in gratitude for this area.
Imagine a beam of light starting at the top of your head,
Cascading down your body like a waterfall,
Providing comfort and healing to your body.
Moving through the neck,
The shoulders,
The back,
The stomach,
The hips,
The thighs,
The legs,
The feet.
Take a moment to take it all in.
Breathe in gratitude for the body.
