In this brief meditation, Cedric takes us through a simple way to use the imagination to go to a safe place for calm, rest, and to do any other healing based meditations we need to. You will be invited to imagine perfect nurturers in the safe space with you as an additional support.

Sitting up straight,

Pushing the crown of the head up towards the ceiling.

And now we're going to start with three really deep breaths.

Go ahead and inhale super,

Super deep.

Retain the breath below the navel.

And now exhale.

Extend the exhale.

Now once again inhale super,

Super deep.

Exhale,

Now extend the length of the exhale.

Exhale.

Now inhale once again super deep and retain the breath below the navel.

Exhale,

Extend out the length of the exhale.

Okay,

Now on the inhale you open the eyes.

And on the exhale close your eyes.

Inhale open.

Exhale close.

Inhale open.

Exhale close.

Inhale open.

Exhale close.

And if you'd like you can just keep your eyes closed.

Keep breathing.

Start lengthening the,

The out breath.

Now really starting to notice how you're settled.

Okay,

I'm going to count from five to one and when I get to one you're going to be at your safe place.

The five.

Floating floating.

For rising,

Rising.

You're gonna you're floating up on a cloud to your safe place.

Three.

Getting closer to your safe place now.

Two.

And one.

Now you're at your safe place.

Go ahead and develop the scene.

This is an imaginal exercise.

Maybe have your perfect nurturers there.

Maybe have other supportive figures that love you,

Take care of you,

Keep you safe.

Go ahead and imagine that scene now.

That's right,

Keep going.

That's right.

And you enter to develop the theme in such a way that you really get your need for safety.

Such that you're really settled.

And there's no limit on this to shape the scene however you want.

That's right.

What a relief.

Now also see that there is no limit on this.

This is always available to you.

Make that really obvious to you in the scene.

Also notice how your perfect nurturers love to give you this safe place.

But it's a delight for them to provide this for you.
