Hi my beautiful Lightbringers.

So,

You are an empath who feels other people's energies too deeply.

Before I get into today,

Which I'm going to teach you all about how to make sure you are no longer affected by this in the way that you currently are,

So that you can actually use it as a strength rather than something that depletes you,

Drains you,

And negatively affects your life,

I want to remind you that being an empath is a gift.

It is a gift and I actually see it as a psychic gift.

It is a psychic gift that you are lucky enough to have in this lifetime.

The problem is though,

Nobody's taught you how to use this psychic gift.

Nobody's taught you how to leverage this psychic gift to create success in your life,

To create success in business,

To create success in healing,

To be able to activate more psychic abilities,

Because that's what being an empath actually allows you to do.

I use my empath abilities in my business to make more money,

In my healing work,

In my spiritual work,

In my relationships.

I'm so grateful for this gift I have of being an empath.

But it wasn't always like that.

There was a time in my very early 20s,

Maybe even like late teenage years,

Where being an empath felt debilitating,

Crippling for me.

And it was during this time that I was really starting to open up all of my energy.

I was doing a lot of energy work,

Raising my vibrations,

Opening up more and more spiritually and energetically.

And even though I've always been an empath,

It's like the gift came online really strong and hard during this spiritual journey,

Which I'm sure a lot of you can relate to.

And I remember at the time,

I was working as a receptionist at an optometrist.

And so there were a lot of people who were suffering,

Who were in pain,

That we were dealing with.

And I would be debilitated.

At the end of every single shift,

I would be completely debilitated.

I would have no energy.

I'd be exhausted.

I would be grumpy.

I would be crying.

Like,

I could cry at a drop of a hat.

If someone came in and shared that they're going through something,

I would just start crying because I would feel it,

Right?

That's what an empath does.

We don't sympathize.

We empathize.

We feel it all.

We feel this other people's stuff as if it is our own.

And when we don't know how to work with that gift,

It is debilitating because here is someone coming along and saying,

Oh,

I have this pain or I'm suffering with this.

And we're internalizing it and experiencing it as our own.

And it is overwhelming,

Debilitating.

And so I would come home at the end of every day and just be like,

Nobody talked to me.

I go into my private space and just close my eyes,

Put on music and be like,

I can't talk to anyone.

I can't see anyone for the next hour.

I just need to be alone.

And I would eat food,

Which would help me deal with the intense emotions and feelings I was having.

And I would just have to shut the world out,

Literally dissociate because it was too much.

And this continued for many months,

Right?

And it was debilitating.

Like,

If somebody went through something,

I was crying.

If somebody was feeling something,

I was feeling it too.

I was drained,

Exhausted every single day.

And this was just life,

I guess.

I just was like,

OK,

I guess I'm just a spiritual,

Intuitive woman.

This is life.

But it was at this point I began to research and understand a little bit more about empaths and what an empath is.

And it was also during this time that I was really diving deep into my energetic medicine studies.

Now,

When I began to see my empath gift as actually a gift and to work with it,

It completely changed for me.

Because something you've likely encountered,

Which I encountered as well,

Would be people saying,

You've just got to protect your energy more.

You're just,

You're too open energetically.

You've got to protect it more.

So I would sit there and I would be like,

Protections,

Protections,

Protections,

Protected as much as I could possibly protect it.

Guess what?

I still felt all the stuff.

Because you're not supposed to protect your empath gifts from the world.

You're supposed to know how to navigate them and use them.

The protection thing,

It doesn't work for empaths and there's a reason for that,

Right?

It's because you being able to be in tune with the world around you is a gift.

So what I began to do is rather than looking at it like,

Let me just try and shut the world out and protect myself from it,

Which wasn't working,

I began to see it as if I feel something,

It's my body,

It's my energy system picking up on an energy,

But I don't have to hold it.

Because what most empaths do is,

Let's say somebody is like,

I feel so sad.

I've got so much sadness.

And we go,

I feel the sadness too.

And we hold it,

Right?

Think of it like oxygen.

You breathe it in and just hold it.

You're like,

Oh,

This oxygen is mine now.

I'm not letting it go.

This sadness is mine now.

I'm not letting it go.

But that doesn't serve an empath,

Right?

Because we're just holding it,

Holding it,

Holding it.

What we actually need to do is we need to go,

Huh,

I feel sadness from this person.

That's interesting.

Thank you,

Body,

For letting me become aware that this is what this other person is feeling.

And I'm going to let it out because it's not mine.

It doesn't belong to me.

And like oxygen,

Like breath,

We breathe it in,

We breathe it out.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

So as we're walking through the world or as I'm working with a client,

The client is going through something.

Let's say they're like,

I'm so angry at my husband.

I'm like,

Oh,

I feel that anger.

Great.

Thank you,

Energy body,

For letting me know.

Isn't that an advantage for me as a healer to be able to be that perceived?

Isn't it an advantage for me as a businesswoman to be able to perceive other people's emotions to that level?

Go,

Oh,

Just feeling some real anger.

OK,

Great.

We'll do some work on this.

Thank you for letting me know,

Energy body.

But now I release it.

It's not mine.

And it goes.

And when I started to implement this,

When I started to shift this,

Everything began to change.

So I will go into work as a receptionist and someone will be going through something and I go,

Oh,

I feel the pain and the stress and I go,

But it's not mine.

Thank you,

Body,

For letting me become aware this is what this person is doing,

But it's not mine.

And I'm releasing it.

I'm letting it go.

Empaths are not taught to use their gifts.

So when we feel it,

We hold it and we claim it as our own.

But actually,

It's just like oxygen.

It's in and out,

In and out.

You can choose to release it.

And this becomes not a thing you need to do at the end of the day,

But conscious.

As soon as you begin to recognize,

Oh,

I'm feeling an emotion out of the blue.

We want to breathe it out.

Now,

We really want to make sure you have a baseline,

Really good energetic,

Emotional state.

And that usually comes from the three pillars of energetic health,

Which is cleansing,

Grounding and protecting.

So if you're not doing that,

That's really important to just be doing in general,

Because it's going to give you a nice energetic,

Emotional baseline where you'll be very sensitive to like,

This is how I normally feel.

Oh,

Look,

There's some anger.

Oh,

Look,

There's grief.

Oh,

Look,

There's sadness.

And when you feel that,

You get to breathe it out and let it go.

Now,

This is going to serve you day to day,

Right?

As you're working with people,

Coming across people in different situations.

And naturally,

Guess what?

If you're an empath,

You are probably attracting people who love that you're an empath and are subconsciously,

Not intentionally,

Very rarely intentionally,

Energetic vampires or dumping on you,

Right?

Because they feel you're so present,

You're so open.

I don't know if you have a friend like that in your life at the moment who's like,

This is all my stuff,

Big dump.

And you're just sitting there like,

I'm collecting it all.

And then they're like,

I feel so much better.

And you're like,

I don't.

Right?

I don't know if you've ever had that experience.

I'm sure if you're an empath,

You have.

It's a very common experience that we all have because we are great space holders.

It's part of our gift.

It's what makes me so good at what I do.

However,

We're not meant to collect it and hold it.

We feel it.

We perceive it.

We let it go.

We release it,

Right?

And there is an element of energetic and emotional boundaries here as well.

So as you're moving through life and you're consciously choosing to release and let go of emotions,

I also want to speak to another situation,

Right?

Because let's say that you are about to go into the city.

Let's say maybe you live in a town or you live in the country and you're like,

I have to go to the city.

The city has some really intense energies.

I'm usually drained.

Maybe you want to go to a concert,

Right?

And you're like,

There's going to be a lot of people.

I'm going to be so sensitive.

I don't want to be energetically drained for days to come afterwards.

There are ways to look after your energy that isn't just protection,

Protection,

Protection,

Because you'll probably find that the protection doesn't work as well for you,

Right?

Now,

Here's why.

An empath's energetic body is a little bit different to someone who's not an empath.

So when I look at empath's auric fields clairvoyantly,

What I'll often see,

It's like these little energetic tentacles,

Just like,

Let me tune into this person.

Let me tune into that.

Oh,

I'm connected to this.

And so they're connected to and tuned into so many people,

So many different situations,

So many different energies everywhere,

Like just plugged in,

Plugged in.

Let me tune into that.

So let's say you're walking through the city.

You're not just like,

I'm here in my happy energy bubble.

You're like,

Oh,

That person,

This person,

This building,

This energy grid,

And you're tuning into everything.

That's when it can feel overwhelming.

So if you know you're going to be walking through a space where the energy is overwhelming,

What you can go ahead and do is actually call in your energy body before you're about to go there.

So let's say like,

Right,

I'm going to leave very soon and go off to a concert.

What you're going to do is you're going to say,

Okay,

Energy body,

Auric field,

I call you back now to me fully.

And I want you to visualize any tentacles,

Any of your energetic tentacles that have been plugged into any people,

Situations,

Places,

Coming all back to you,

All of your energy returning back to you till you see it,

Just one meter radius around you,

All of your energy here with you.

And then you can place a protection around it.

And you can say to your energy body,

All right,

We're going to go to the city now,

Or we're going to go to a concert now for the rest of the day.

I don't want you adventuring out.

You're just going to stay put.

Okay.

I set the intention for my energy body,

My auric field to stay one meter radius for the next 24 hours.

For example,

Right.

You can do this every day.

If you're very sensitive and you're like,

I really like I'm debilitated by my empath nurse during your learning to work with it.

You can do this every day.

That's okay too.

I did it every day as well.

When I was first starting to work with my empath nurse.

And after I did learn to work with it,

I never really worry about that now because I'm so good at working with the energy,

But it's like,

It's a muscle,

Right?

It takes time and you will get good at it.

So once you've called in that energy and protected yourself,

It doesn't mean that you're not going to feel anybody else's stuff at all,

Right?

Because that's still your nature.

The truth is you cannot ever 100% fully protect yourself from that unless you completely somehow lose and get rid of the empath gift,

Right?

Because it's your gift.

It's what you came here to experience.

Imagine if everybody in the world was an empath.

Of course,

Everybody in the 5D is an empath because it serves humanity.

It serves a collective consciousness.

Of course,

You are here to create that fifth dimensional state because you have these gifts.

So it's not about trying to get rid of these gifts to fit into the 3D world.

It's about learning how to work with them so you can hold the 3D world to a 5D standard because you're here to create that bridge.

You're here to bring through the fifth dimensional frequencies.

And part of that is embodying and using your empath gift.

So remember,

Use it as a breath.

As you feel someone else's energy,

Breathe it in and then breathe it out.

This hit home. I tend to be overwhelmed by non-human energies like animals especially, trees, plants and generally environments. It is painful because I can't always do something about what I'm looking at...litter, hungry strays, abused trees. The animals part leaves me sleepless. When I have helped, especially with animals, they end up being overly dependent on me, which I don’t mind, but it is disruptive for my family. If I don't help animals, I'm miserable and weepy. I don't know what to do! :(
