Welcome to this guided meditation on evaluating boundaries.
My name is Joy,
And I will be guiding you in today's meditation.
To begin,
Take a seat or lay down.
Get comfortable and then close your eyes.
To calm our body and mind,
Take a deep breath in.
Hold for three seconds at the top.
And then exhale in a large sigh.
Continue these deep breaths for one minute.
Let your breathing return to normal now.
You are in an open field.
The sun is shining.
And the wind is peaceful.
Everything about this place is calm and peaceful.
In the distance,
You see someone approaching you.
It is you,
But it is the you who has healthy boundaries.
Let them approach you.
Take a walk,
Or imagine a bench for you both.
And this healthy boundaries you to talk.
They are not here to judge you,
But to inform you.
Ask them where you need to have more boundaries in your life.
Let them show you what it feels like to have these boundaries and dispel any fears about what may happen if you set them.
Now,
Ask the you with healthy boundaries if you have any boundaries or behaviors that are simply masking as boundaries,
But are really bypassing.
Ways to protect yourself not by truly confronting something.
Let them take your hand and hold you as they show you the answer.
Give gratitude for all that has happened here.

Bringing your awareness back to your body.
Slowly begin to move and open your eyes.
