When we are in pain, it is easy to forget that our bodies have the power to heal, especially when our pain becomes chronic. This visualization meditation will help guide you to call upon the incredible healing capacity your body holds within every cell. I hope it serves you.

The mind is an incredibly strong and effective tool to facilitate healing.

I'm sure you've heard the concept that what you focus on expands.

What we want to focus on in these next several minutes is bringing white healing light to any place we may be feeling pain,

Tightness,

Sluggishness,

Or any other type of discomfort.

By doing this paired with eating right,

Getting enough sleep,

And staying hydrated,

We can make a huge difference in our healing journeys.

Sit in a comfortable position,

Either on the floor or in a chair.

Feel free to lie down if that's more comfortable for you.

Close your eyes.

Take three deep breaths in and out.

For the next few moments,

Scan your body,

Taking notice of every place that feels off to you.

You may even realize you are holding tension in your neck or shoulders,

Your legs or glutes,

Your back.

Soften those areas.

If I find that I'm holding tension anywhere,

I like to move the area around,

Rotate my ankles,

Wiggle my legs,

Shake my shoulders,

Circle my neck a few times in each direction,

Just to loosen and relax those areas.

After you've done your body scan and taken note of the areas that need some extra love,

Imagine bright white light in each of the areas in your body.

Maybe it's one area.

Imagine the light removing the discomfort and bringing healing.

As you inhale,

The light grows larger and brighter.

And as you exhale,

The light washes over every nook and cranny of your body.

Imagine this light healing every organ,

Every cell,

Every muscle and bone.

This light is so bright,

It immediately turns the darkest areas to light.

Your body wants to heal and is healing every minute of every day.

You are meant to live life to the fullest.

And yes,

That means living without constant pain and constant suffering.

Do not doubt this.

You are healing.

You are supported.

You are loved.

Breathe that in.

Your body loves you and tries so hard to help you feel your best.

When you take the time to love your body in return,

You become a co-creator of health and deep healing.

Together,

You and your body become an unstoppable team.
