This is a meditation to tap into gratitude.

So find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed for the next few minutes.

You may lie on your back or find a comfortable seat or even lie down in bed.

Whatever is most comfortable for you in this moment.

Once you're settled,

Take a few deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Last deep breath in and let it go.

Allow your breath to come to its natural rhythm,

Its natural ebb and flow.

You may close your eyes or soften your gaze to a point in front of you.

Bring to mind something or someone you are grateful for and allow yourself to be filled with gratitude.

Notice how this something or someone makes you feel.

Allowing this gratitude to wash over your entire being.

Filling your heart,

Filling every cell,

Every organ with gratitude.

Notice if this feeling of gratitude has a color,

A sound,

An image.

Allow whatever comes to mind to settle with each breath.

To settle and fill your entire being with every inhale your awareness of this gratitude builds.

With each exhale this color,

Image,

Sound,

Feeling spreads even more into all the places in the body,

All the nooks and crannies.

Let yourself be immersed in gratitude.

Continue to breathe deeply in and out this time through the nose.

Eventually this gratitude begins to extend beyond your physical body into the space around you,

Into the world,

Touching those you love,

You know,

And even those you do not know.

Imagine how your gratitude is felt and received.

Be with this gratitude for a few more breaths or longer if you have more time.

And when you're ready just gently,

Softly,

Slowly begin to welcome movement back into the body and blink open your eyes.

May this gratitude that you have tapped into,

Cultivated and grown support you and guide you throughout the rest of your day.
