Moon Cycle Meditation.
We'll begin this meditation to connect with the moon by softening through the physical body,
Bringing your awareness to the hairline,
The eyebrows,
The cheeks,
The lips,
Allowing the earlobes to relax,
The back of the neck,
The chest,
The belly button,
And the thighs.
Arriving in this space and opening to the possibility of allowing the body to rest.
Here,
Bringing your awareness to the breath and taking three nice deep breaths.
And on the exhale,
I'd invite you to sigh to release,
Even opening the mouth and emphasizing that exhale,
Sighing on those deep breaths.
Now,
Bringing your awareness to the outside of the body and beginning to visualize the night sky surrounding you.
Lift your gaze and notice the stars present in surrounding.
As your eyes travel through the depths of the night's canvas,
Set the intention to connect with rich mystical energy of the new moon,
Taking a moment to bathe in the darkness that it offers and seeing this darkness as a space to rest,
To pause,
To fully let go and trust that growth can happen even when we can't see it.
Warm to the opportunity of coming back to center within yourself and open to this time of rest and stillness.
Taking a nice slow breath of quiet reflection,
Being fully present beneath the velvet of the night sky as you soak in the energy of the new moon.
Here,
Asking yourself,
What do I most want to bring forward in my life right now?
As you pause in this moment of reflection,
Gazing at this deep night sky,
Begin to see a sliver of the moon appear with soft certainty.
Stepping into the rebuilding phase of the waxing crescent and for a moment,
A breath,
Experiencing the seeds that your thoughts create begin to sprout.
The garden of your mind begins to grow.
Nurture this growth.
As the moon continues to grow with the reflection of the sun,
Sense the energy of the first quarter moon in the night sky,
Noticing a light and airy hopefulness that comes with a gentle invitation to embrace your playful side.
Taking one slow breath with the first quarter,
Affirming within yourself,
I will overcome any obstacle in my path.
Continuing to see the moon slowly grow as it reaches the waxing gibbous phase,
The powerful time of potential before the energy of the new moon reaches its peak.
Feeling the energy within yourself grow as it parallels to that of the moon.
Pausing in this balance,
Embracing the buds of the mind's garden that are preparing to bloom,
Digesting lessons and acknowledging the internal growth that has taken place.
Pause.
Pausing in this balance.
With your next breath,
Feeling the gentle shift to the full moon,
Still lifting your gaze to the night sky,
Opening to embrace the energy of the full bloom,
The radiant glory of the full beam.
In this stillness,
Moving inward and allowing yourself to fully celebrate you.
Fully celebrating you.
Savoring everything you have created with the waxing moon,
Planted with the growing energy.
You are worthy of connecting deeply and celebrating the spark that is within you.
As you hold these moments sacred,
Beginning to feel your body,
Your energy,
Your soul releasing what is no longer in alignment.
Letting go.
Feeling the energy of letting go accompany you as the cycle of the moon continues and the light slowly begins to dim.
Arriving in the waning gibbous,
Lovingly guiding your awareness inward for a moment and inviting reflection on what feeds your soul.
Considering what leads to feeling awakened and alive.
Finding space of genuine curiosity as you take a slow breath here.
Reflect.
Finding yourself in the company of the last quarter,
Now weaving the insights,
Emotions,
And learnings into the ways in which you show up.
Feeling a sense of understanding coming to join you as you intuitively find ease.
Finding ease in this space.
Welcoming the waning crescent,
Seeing the moon return to an illuminated crescent shape as it enters the final phase before coming back to the rich dark sky.
The energy of your mind,
Body,
And soul desires rest and regeneration.
With a sense of surrender,
Turn inward alongside the moon and step into the self-care to meet inner peace and reconnect.
Reconnect with yourself.
These soft moments of stillness carry you once more to the quiet phase of the new moon.
