Beginning by getting yourself in a comfortable position.

Any way that feels comfortable in this moment.

Beginning to settle the mind,

The breath,

And the physical body.

Allowing yourself to relax.

Breathing in and breathing out.

And letting go of any expectations.

Mindfully leaving the ego at the door.

Bringing your awareness to focus on the breath.

And having acceptance of the breath.

No changes.

Just noticing the breath as it is.

Bringing your awareness to the inner landscape and noticing how you feel in this moment.

Any sensations you feel,

The emotions you may feel.

And feeling what you need to feel through this experience.

Then taking a moment to set an intention.

To begin to cultivate self-acceptance.

To be open to cultivating self-acceptance.

As you set that intention,

Have an awareness of any sensations that may feel like resistance to acceptance.

Acknowledge these emotions.

Recognize these emotions.

Also accept these emotions.

And embrace them.

Know that there is nothing to fix with this journey.

Accept yourself as you are.

And today,

In this moment,

Through the full length of this journey.

Again,

Connecting with the breath.

And beginning that self-acceptance at the breath.

Through this journey,

Working alongside yourself.

Know that you are your biggest strength.

You are your greatest support.

Again,

Relaxing and settling into that support.

Then allowing these words to resonate with you.

And repeating them within yourself if you'd like.

I feel all the emotions that arise in me.

Gently bringing your awareness to rest on the physical body.

The support beneath you.

And staying here for as long as you'd like.

I am recovering from a stroke but I do have fibromyalgia and anxiety. I found this meditation. Acceptance is important. Thank you for offering this.
