This healing practice will help you wash away your stress, anxiety, and anger. It is designed to help us identify the heavy situations and emotions that are causing us to feel sadness, anger, loneliness, frustation and any other "negative" emotion (there are no negative emotions) we may be feeling. Through this relaxation, we will work to let go and bring in peace, compassion and forgiveness for both self and others. We will connect to our higher selves and feel the peace of letting go. Come wash it away with me!

Hello and welcome to your wash it away meditation.

This time is simply for you to relax,

Bring calm to your mind,

Body and spirit,

And to release the things that are currently causing you stress,

Struggle,

And any other negative emotion that you wish to release now.

Go ahead and find yourself in a comfortable position where you won't be disturbed for the next 10 minutes or so.

Allow yourself to sink in to wherever it is you are sitting.

Feel the support of the ground or the sofa or the chair below you.

Giving gratitude for yourself for creating this time and space to go in,

Creating calm and releasing worries.

Gently place your hand over your heart now and begin to breathe deeply.

Focus on inhaling and exhaling to the same amount of time,

Fully deepening your breath and completely releasing it on your exhale.

Let's do several more deep breaths to settle in to our meditation time.

At this time,

Allow yourself to connect with the energy of the things that are causing you stress or struggle at this time.

Allow yourself to bring them up,

To hold space for them here,

And to acknowledge their presence.

Label them and label their emotions that are connected with these circumstances.

Are they causing you sadness or anger?

Are they causing you overwhelm?

Are they causing you to feel less than connected to yourself and your spirituality?

Are they causing you stress?

I'll give you a minute now to take a mental inventory of all of the things that are causing you to feel distressed.

Allowing our emotions to be with us is self-love.

When we acknowledge what we are feeling and we allow the emotion and the energy of the emotion to exist,

We are able to move through the emotion while also simultaneously healing it in a way that is honoring and respectful to ourselves.

In your mind's eye,

Find yourself on the beach of an ocean.

In front of you is the vastness,

The power,

The force of nature at its very best.

Allow yourself to sink into the sand,

To feel the sand between your toes,

To lie down restfully,

Feeling the sun on your face and focusing on the sound of the waves.

Take a few deep breaths here,

Playing with the senses as you're sitting or lying on the beach.

The ocean and all of nature has great power to heal ourselves.

We are part of nature and we have the profound ability to also heal ourselves.

At this moment,

Recall one of your current stressors.

Bring it to mind.

Scan your body.

When you think about this situation,

When you feel into this situation,

Where do you feel it in your body?

Do you feel tightness or warmth?

Do you feel tingling or pressure?

Do you feel anxious?

Do you feel tension?

Locate a spot in your body where you feel this energy lodged and send an intentional breath to this area.

While holding this situation in your mind and focusing on the place in your body where it is stored,

Imagine the waves that you hear moving up over your body,

Cleansing out this scenario,

Healing it in all time and space,

Healing it for all involved,

Calming you down,

Bringing clarity and comfort as it washes away the pain,

Washes away the stress,

And brings it from your body and your energy field into the ocean to be recycled.

As you hear the waves crash up against the shore,

Imagine them washing away and releasing the energy of the situation you are currently connected to.

Continue to allow the ocean to soothe and wash away that which no longer serves you,

To wash away the resentment,

To wash away the anger,

To dilute the pain,

To recycle it into love.

Do this now for every stressful situation that is currently happening in your life.

Draw attention to it,

Connect in with your body,

Send a healing breath to where you feel the stress of that emotion in your body,

And visualize the waves that you hear washing away,

Lessening the pain,

Diminishing the stress,

And bringing solutions and clarity to the situation for you and for all involved,

For the highest good of all involved.

Bring in the intention of healing,

Bring in the intention of letting go,

Bring in the intention of releasing,

And bring in the intention of drawing in clarity and inspired action to help you continue to solve this in a way that honors you and all involved.

I'll be quiet now as you connect in with the energy of each current stressor,

Connecting in with your body and allowing the waves to wash it over you.

Remember to use as much sense and feeling,

Using the power of the waves that you hear,

To connect in with your mind-body system and release with each wave.

The energy of each current stressor is the energy of each current wave.

The energy of each current wave is the energy of each current wave.

The energy of each current wave is the energy of each current wave.

Go ahead and take another deep breath in,

Continuing to feel the release,

Continuing to let go of the struggle,

To invite calm,

To invite solutions,

To invite peace,

To invite love.

As you continue to let the oceans clear you of your current stressful situations,

Know that you have everything inside of you and the connectedness as a beautiful part of nature itself,

As a beautiful part of the universal life force,

As a human that is simultaneously part of the divine.

You can rest assured that as you continue to intend and look for healing,

You are sure to find it.

Take a moment now to ask for guidance as you move forward in your life to help bring solutions and peace to all situations that you currently are doing.

Allow yourself to be free to choose what is best for you.

Allow yourself to choose kindness and compassion and forgiveness for yourself and others as you continue to find solutions.

As you open to guidance,

Never limit the way in which it can be delivered.

Start to create a keen awareness of how the universe is communicating with you through all forms,

All people,

All signs,

All symbols,

Books,

Quotes,

Movies,

Songs,

Conversations.

Open yourself up to receive as you continue to let go and seek solutions.

Place your hand over your heart,

Finding deep gratitude for this time you created for yourself.

Taking in one last deep breath and bringing awareness to your fingers and your toes as you wiggle them around and slowly move your body,

Becoming aware of your surroundings and opening up your eyes when you're ready.

Put a smile on your face and move forward with confidence and clarity,

Sending you lots of love today.

Wonderful meditation. Really helped me to release the anxiety I was holding - I experienced a violent and very healing crying fit and felt tons better after.
