Welcome,
Everyone,
To this short morning meditation focusing on gratitude.
And as we get settled,
I'll invite you to find a comfortable position,
Whether that's sitting up or lying down.
Choose a position that really allows you to feel steady,
Supported,
And at ease.
And when you're ready,
Let's begin by softly closing the eyes.
If that isn't comfortable for you today,
You can simply lower your gaze.
And let's begin by simply breathing,
Taking a deep inhale through your nose,
Feeling the air fill your lungs,
And exhaling slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any tension with each breath,
Continuing with a few more deep and easy breaths,
Just allowing the body to arrive fully in this moment.
Now,
Without needing to change anything,
Let's notice the simple miracle of being here,
Living,
Present in this moment.
And as you breathe,
Gently bring your attention to something you're grateful for right now.
It could be the warmth of the sun,
The stillness of the morning,
The love from a pet,
Or someone dear and near to your heart.
But whatever you choose,
Let this gratitude come naturally.
Let those appreciations unfold and shower over you.
Acknowledge how these moments make you feel or have made you feel.
Really allow for your feelings about these grateful moments expand within you.
And with that sense of gratitude in your heart,
Imagine it as a soft glowing light flowing at the center of your heart.
And with each inhale,
Visualize this light growing brighter and brighter.
With each exhale,
Feel it expanding outward,
Filling your body and the space around you with warmth and appreciation.
Now let's bring to mind another source of gratitude.
Perhaps it's an event or opportunity that's awaiting you today.
It could even be the simple promise of a new beginning.
But whatever it is,
Allow the answers to come naturally.
In this quiet space,
Allow yourself to let the visions of new forms of expansion come to you.
And as you hold this gratitude in your awareness,
Breathe in more appreciation.
And breathe out any lingering tension,
Worry,
Or scarcity.
And in this moment,
You are worthy as you are.
You are safe,
Secure,
And supported.
Continuing to breathe.
Thanking yourself for this breath.
For this opportunity to breathe.
Feeling this breath.
Feeling the present moment.
Feeling the moments of gratitude.
That you've cultivated into your being.
Knowing that like seeds of intention,
That you've carefully planted.
You are trusting in their growth and their ability to to carry you throughout your day.
And to close out,
We'll take one final deep nourishing breath in.
On exhale out.
And when you're ready,
You can begin to to bring some gentle movement back into the body.
Maybe wiggling your fingers and toes.
Maybe even gifting yourself a light stretch.
And when you're ready,
You can gently open your eyes.
Returning to your day with a heart full of gratitude.
Remembering that this feeling that you've created this morning is light,
Effortless,
And nourishing.
It is something you can return to at any time.
