Welcome dear listener.
My name is Anne and I'm going to guide you in a meditation to relax and ground you and then ask you to consider a few questions about what is coming up for you today and to explore your heart's inner wisdom.
You may like to journal at the end of the practice what arises for you.
So let's begin by finding a comfortable seat wherever you are.
Gently closing the eyes or keeping the gaze soft and taking a few moments to find ease with the spine long and the shoulders relaxed.
I invite you to take a couple of cleansing breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth perhaps with an audible sigh letting go of your day so far.
Breathing in and sighing out.
Breathing in,
Sighing out,
Letting go.
Allowing yourself to drop into this moment,
To drop into your centre and for the chatter of the mind to quieten.
Now turning your attention within and perhaps setting an intention for this practice if that feels right.
Maybe to simply soften,
Relax and listen to the heart's guidance.
Tapping into your insight and intuition.
Become aware of the breath,
Aware of the body's connection to the earth and turn your attention to the energy in the body,
Intending and allowing yourself to become more present.
Noticing how your energy feels right now and encouraging that energy to flow freely and evenly throughout the entire body.
Aware of your whole self,
Your physical body,
Your subtle body.
Take a breath in and then breathe out,
Releasing any stress or activity from your day.
Just letting it flow down to the earth,
Releasing it from your body down through the soles of your feet into the earth.
And take another breath welcoming fresh new energy,
Gently holding at the top of the breath,
Pausing,
Relaxing and then letting it go as you breathe out.
Notice how that feels.
Finding a sense of stillness and balance.
Breathing with your whole body,
Allowing all of your energy to circulate and letting it flow within and without.
Surrendering into the experience and feeling as if you are being washed by a warm stream.
Consider if you are holding tension or tightness in any area and know that it is safe to gently soften and release.
Sending compassion to that area and inviting in spaciousness.
Imagining the muscles,
The bones,
The organs,
Cells,
Gently opening,
Widening,
Softening.
Envision all the energy coursing around you and within you effortlessly through all the energy channels.
Rest in the awareness of this energy flow as it washes and cleanses your entire body.
Then turn your attention to your heart and let's take some breaths together where we'll breathe in through the back of the heart,
Pause and relax at the top and then breathe out of the front of the heart.
Let's try that now.
Breathe in through the back of the heart,
Pause and relax the body.
Breathe out through the front of the heart and rest.
Breathe in again through the back of the heart,
Then pause and relax the face,
The eyes,
The cheeks and breathe out through the front of the heart and rest.
Breathe in through the back of the heart and allow the mind to relax and then breathe out through the front of the heart and rest.
Continue to breathe in your own natural rhythm,
Listening to your heartbeat and notice how still you become,
Listening to something so subtle,
So soft.
From this quiet heart space,
Consider where you are at right now in your life.
Perhaps there have been some recurring thoughts or emotions that have been on your mind lately.
Just listen,
Be empty,
Unattached,
Receptive.
Just breathe and give yourself a chance to welcome new information as it arises.
What do you need?
What are you craving most from others?
What would nourish you?
What can you give yourself?
What would nourish you?
What would nourish you?
What can you give yourself?
Listen to what feels right and aligned with you,
Your soul,
Your heart and then gently let this go,
Trusting in the guidance of the heart and that all the answers are within you.
Maybe take time to journal at the end of this meditation what has come up for you.
Let us close now with a simple intention to honour your intuition and internal wisdom and to take a small step today towards your heart's desire.
