Welcome to this meditation called balance within and shine your light.
This is Ann Baker with Essence Health.
I invite you to find a comfortable place to sit with your feet on the floor or sitting on a cushion with your back supported if needed.
Make sure you have no distractions and give yourself permission to take this time to just be here right now.
Nothing to do or fix.
Begin to turn within,
Paying attention to your breath.
Paying attention to your inhale and your exhale.
Noticing that with awareness your breath slows and depends on its own.
And notice that the breath is breathing you.
There is an intelligence within your body mind.
We'll bring our awareness down to the feet,
Our anchors to the ground.
Bring all of your awareness inside your left foot.
Feeling the sensations,
The aliveness and your right foot.
See if you can become aware of both feet at the same time.
And bring your awareness to your left hip.
And not just becoming aware of the left hip,
But bringing your awareness inside the left hip.
And the right hip.
Can you become aware of the space and the sensations between the left and the right?
So you are inside your hips.
Can you become aware of your legs in between your hip sockets and your feet?
Can you become aware of the ground under your feet?
Maybe there's a couple of levels before you can become aware of the earth that ultimately we are standing upon.
Allow your imagination to go even deeper within the earth.
Through all the layers,
All the way to the center,
Source of great power and energy that gives life to every living being,
Every living creature on this planet.
With your inhale,
You can draw in that creative power and feel it within your body.
That same energy that you can feel within the body.
Contained in the center of the earth.
Can imagine drawing that up with your inhale to your belly.
Anchoring you,
Sustaining you.
With your exhale,
Feel that support.
Feel that groundedness.
Relax into that.
You may feel the belly getting warmer.
Softer.
We relax into our source.
And we'll bring attention to our head.
There's a space in the middle of your head.
Inside.
Enter that space with your awareness.
If you were to follow your spinal cord,
Straight up in between your ears,
A little bit higher.
Feel that space.
Notice how it feels.
See if you can become aware of the space at the bottom of your spinal cord between the hips that we were visiting earlier.
See if you can feel that connection.
That flow of energy and awareness from the base of your spine all the way to the top of your head.
With your breath,
Just notice maybe where the energy feels sour,
Sluggish when you take that breath between the base of your spine and the top of your head.
Imagine this energy is coming up through the base of your spine,
Up and out of the top of your head cascading all around your body like a shower,
A shower of energy.
Imagine these life giving molecules filled with exactly what you need to heal,
To be energized,
To rejuvenate.
Next,
I invite you to bring your attention and your awareness to the heart center.
Notice how it feels,
The front of the chest,
The back.
And again,
We're going to take our awareness and go inside the heart.
And from this space,
We can go up to that center of our head where we just were or down to the base of the spine.
Imagine the breath is coming in and out of the heart.
The heart is breathing you.
I invite you to call to mind the quality about yourself that's unique and natural,
Something that when you're relaxed,
You can't help but express.
Just fill your body and mind and heart with appreciation for this quality that you bring to the world.
Pay attention.
How does it feel to be grounded,
Energized,
And centered in your power,
In your light?
Do you have any boundaries?
Do you have any limits right now?
Take a few more deep breaths,
Allowing this feeling,
This centered,
Grounded,
Uplifted feeling to permeate every cell of your body.
This is how you build new neural pathways,
New brain habits that then create a new normal,
A new habit.
It will get easier and easier with practice.
This is your natural state.
You can set an intention to come back to this feeling and expressing it every day.
We need your light.
