Namaste and welcome.
Today I want us to use our imaginations and have some fun.
I want you to feel energized.
I want you to know that you are powerful and amazing.
There is no need to sit for this entire exercise.
You just listen to my voice and take whatever movements feel good in your body.
Let's begin.
Sit down.
Feel your bottom where it connects to the floor.
Imagine a red ball of light here.
Imagine the ball getting bigger and bigger and bigger.
Imagine that it is full of beautiful red things.
Maybe some red flowers,
A fire truck,
A red car speeding around,
A crunchy red apple might be nice,
And maybe some red butterflies fluttering around.
This place in your body is called your root chakra.
It connects you to Mother Earth and makes you feel safe.
Stand up if you would like.
Imagine that you are a tree.
Your legs and feet are the trunk.
Your arms can be the branches moving in the wind.
Beneath your feet are your roots connecting you to this beautiful earth.
Okay,
Now move your thoughts to just below your belly button.
Imagine a ball of orange light here.
Let it grow bigger.
Fill it with juicy oranges,
An orange setting sun,
And any other orange item that you would like.
I'm going to put an orange crocodile in mine.
This area is your sacral chakra.
It is where you make your choices from.
Will you have cereal for breakfast or maybe a fruit smoothie?
What kind of clothing would it feel good to wear today?
Will you yell and stomp when you're feeling angry or will you be a cheetah and run?
It might be fun to pretend to hula hoop right now or maybe even do a little dance as long as it gets your hips moving.
Our next chakra is just above our belly buttons.
It is called our solar plexus chakra and its color is yellow.
Imagine a big glowing sun just above your sweet belly button.
Imagine its beautiful warm light.
Imagine bananas and yellow tulips,
A giant yellow excavator.
A few somersaults might feel good and help to activate this important energy center.
I'll give you a minute to do some somersaults.
This chakra is our place of energy.
It is where we find the power to make the things that we want to happen happen.
Next bring your mind to your loving heart.
Imagine a green ball of light here.
Let's fill it with some green things like frogs and trees and some green fish swimming around.
Raise your heart and imagine it shooting a beautiful green light up into the sky.
This is our place of love.
Let's send some of this great love and compassion out to everyone we know.
We have lots and lots of it to give.
Okay now moving on to our throat chakra.
Imagine a ball of sky blue light here.
Let's fill it with blue birds and blue bells,
A blue boat on a blue sea.
This is where we speak our truth from.
This is how we get all our creative ideas and our beautiful selves out into the world.
This is definitely a good time to do a dance.
Or maybe pretend that you are a bird flapping your wings or a plane flying through the sky.
Now we'll move on to our sixth chakra.
This one is located right between our eyebrows and its color is purple.
Imagine purple violets and hearts.
Imagine riding a purple unicorn.
This is the place of imagination and dreams.
This is the place of truth.
How we know right from wrong without anyone telling us.
You might like to try balancing on one leg now or take some deep breaths in and out.
Maybe imagine that you are smelling some sweet flowers.
Now we have come to our final chakra.
It is located at the very top of our heads.
Imagine a white light here.
Imagine it extending way up into the sky.
This is our place of spirit where we connect to the whole universe.
Let your light grow all the way up to the moon and stars.
Connect to that beautiful energy that made us and that lives within us.
Now jump up and down.
Try and reach a star and bring it down to you.
Now eat it.
See its light all around you and within you.
Notice how you feel.
I hope that you feel really good.
I hope you feel ready to go out into the world and shine your beautiful light.
You make the world so much better just by being you.
Bring your hands together.
Palms touching.
Bring them in front of your heart.
Bow your head to your hands.
We will end by saying Namaste.
