Okay,
We'll begin with three sounds of the bell.
So,
You might wish to begin by becoming aware of your body in space.
The shape that your body is taking right now.
Seated,
Lying down,
Standing,
Leaning.
You might notice the air that's encircling your body.
And then noticing what's underneath you.
Chair,
Cushion,
Or bed,
Floor,
Earth,
Whatever is underneath you.
And sensing that support that's there.
Underneath whatever it is that's supporting you is the earth.
So you can really sense beyond whatever you're seated or lying on,
Into the earth beneath it.
The solidity,
The firmness of the earth.
Just letting yourself appreciate that and rest into that.
And then if it feels right,
You might notice your belly and the breathing that's in your belly.
The movement of the breath.
Breathing in,
Belly maybe expanding or rising.
Breathing out,
Belly relaxing,
Softening.
And then if you'd like,
You could bring to mind that moment of care or that being who inspires you or that spiritual teacher.
Whatever moment or being that when you bring them into your awareness,
You can really sense being cared for,
Being loved.
And just bringing that memory into your mind,
But also into your body.
Letting yourself really feel through your whole body what it feels like to be in that moment or to be in the presence of this being.
Settling into that field of care.
Really sensing every part of you is loved in its very being.
Every part of you is loved just as it is.
Allowing yourself to be in that love,
Just be held in that field of care.
If you can,
Just accepting that care,
That love,
Accepting it into every part of you as much as you can.
And if there's a part of you that's having difficulty to accept that care,
That love,
Or distracted and being pulled away,
You might just be aware of that part and invite it to be held in this same space of care and love.
Inviting that part of you into this spacious field of care.
Maybe there's a part that says,
Oh you don't deserve this kind of love.
Well then you can bring that part right into here as well,
Into this field of love and care.
And if it fades at all,
You can freshly recall your moment of care or your being of inspiration,
Recalling them again and letting the loving power of those memories and images bring you back into the field of care.
Making enough space for all these parts to relax and settle in their own time.
Settling into this experience,
Your whole being is embraced in this spacious care.
Every part of you loved in its very being.
And every part allowed to find its own place and settle in its own way.
A field of care,
It's warm,
There's acceptance and allowing.
Let your heart and your mind rest into this field and let the mind become open like space.
Utter openness of mind,
Just letting the mind be open and the mind is present without you doing anything.
A wide open space of love.
And you can be free here to let go of anything else and just be in this space,
This wide open space of deep allowing and love.
And if it feels right,
You might bring to mind one of the difficult feelings you've been having over the last few days or week.
Recognizing that our suffering is a form of connection to other suffering beings.
And letting your difficult feeling be held in this field of care that you've created.
All aspects of this feeling held with love for just how it is.
No matter what the feeling is,
It's held in this deep spacious field of care.
And then through this field of care and this care for your own difficult feeling,
We can bring that same field of care,
That same loving energy to all people and beings who are also experiencing this same difficult feeling right now.
So holding our own feelings and bringing into this space the feelings of those who also are feeling this way right now.
And holding all of us in this field of care,
All of our feelings.
And then as you're in this field of care for a few more minutes,
Maybe there's someone else or something else you want to bring into this field of care.
Just see for yourself what you might want to do in these last few minutes with this beautiful,
Spacious field of care that you've generated.
Maybe you just want to steepen this care,
This field of loving care yourself.
Maybe that's what you need is just to really feel held in every part of your being,
Loved in every part of your being,
Every feeling,
Every aspect.
And maybe you just want to steepen this care,
This field of loving care yourself.
Maybe that's what you need is just to really feel held in every part of your being,
Loved in every part of your being,
Every feeling,
Every aspect.
