This 10-minute track will begin to explore the use of a mantra for meditation. It also anchors on the breath. Breate in. Breathe out. Allow yourself to be still. Allow yourself to be here, right now. Mantra meditation.

Take a few moments to get yourself into a relaxed,

Comfortable position and focus on your breath.

Watch your breath as it comes into your body and as it leaves your body.

Breathe in and breathe out.

All the way in and all the way out.

Allow yourself to be still.

Allow yourself to be here right now and allow yourself to be present.

In this meditation we're going to begin to visit the idea of a mantra.

A mantra is the repetition of words or sound which create a wave of vibrational sound around and through your body.

This can have many benefits.

It can be calming,

It can leave you full of compassion and it can even boost immunity as it regulates communication between the nervous system and the endocrine system,

Taking chemical messengers around the body.

Mantras can be used with or without words and they can be spoken or sung and how you use the words are up to you.

Today we are going to use some simple affirmative phrases which have the dual purpose of reminding the unconscious mind of helpful programming.

The more we hear,

Speak and say positive things about ourselves the more comfortable,

Familiar and easier to believe the concepts are.

We'll be working with the phrases I am confident,

I am calm,

I am capable,

I am creative.

As you hear me repeat each phrase over and over follow my words silently in your head or repeat out loud if you prefer for greater resonance and benefit.

In this audio the words are spoken however if you wish to intone or sing the words that is entirely open to you.

What matters is that you connect and focus on each individual phrase and each word as you say it.

Allow the words to fill your mind,

Your body and your attention.
