Welcome to this guided gassho meditation.
Find a comfortable seat,
Closing your eyes and place your hands together in front of your chest,
Prior position,
Gassho.
Focus your attention at the point where the two middle fingers meet.
Let go of everything else.
If your mind wanders,
Acknowledge the thought,
Let it go and refocus,
Returning to the point where your middle fingers meet.
Invite in the five reiki principles.
Just for today,
Do not worry,
Do not anger,
Be grateful,
Be kind,
Be diligent in your work.
If it's beginning to become uncomfortable to hold your hands in gassho,
Simply let your hands,
Keeping them together,
Drop down into your lap,
Finding a more comfortable position and continue to breathe.
Allow yourself to observe the energy,
Whether it's expressing through heat,
Cold,
Images,
Sensations,
Colors,
And simply observe and let go and return your focal point to the tips of your two middle fingers.
Stay in this position for as long as the body and the mind are craving.
Continue to repeat the five reiki principles.
When the mind wanders,
Simply return the focus to where the two middle fingers meet.
