Find a comfortable position.
Either sitting,
Or lying down.
Let your hands rest gently in your lap.
Or at your sides.
Let your eyes softly close.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
And slowly release it through your mouth.
Again.
Breathe in.
And let it go.
One more time,
A full deep breath in.
And a long,
Slow exhale.
Good.
You're here.
And that's enough.
Begin to bring your awareness to the top of your head.
Just notice it,
No need to change anything.
Simply feel the crown of your head.
And let it soften.
Let that softening move down into your forehead.
Your eyes.
The space between your eyes.
Release any tension you're holding there.
Allow it to flow down into your jaw.
So many of us hold tension in our jaw without even realizing it.
Just allow any tension in your jaw to drop.
Allow your teeth to part slightly.
Let it go.
Down into your neck.
And shoulders.
With every breath out,
Feel your shoulders drop just a little lower.
A little heavier.
A little more ease.
Let that relaxation pour down your arms.
Your elbows.
Your wrists.
And to the tips of your fingers.
You can feel your fingers start to tingle.
Feel your chest soften.
Your heart space is opening with each breath.
Feel your belly rising and falling.
Rising.
And falling.
Easy.
And light.
Down into your hips.
Your lower back releasing any weight you've been carrying today.
Or maybe for much longer than today.
Down through your thighs,
Your knees,
Your calves.
All the way down to the soles of your feet.
Feel yourself fully here.
Fully supported.
Grounded.
And present in this body.
That carries you through the world every single day.
I want you to imagine a warm golden light.
Beginning to gather just above the crown of your head.
It's gentle.
It's safe.
And this ball of light feels like the most peaceful thing you've ever felt.
With each breath in,
That light begins to slowly descend.
Moving through the top of your head,
Down through your mind.
Quieting any thoughts that may still be lingering.
Just let them float away like clouds passing through an open sky.
The light moves into your throat.
Your chest.
Settling right into the center of your heart.
And here.
Everything slows down even more.
You are in a space now.
Between the busy world and something much quieter.
Much deeper.
Something.
That has always been here.
Patiently waiting for you.
In this peaceful state.
I want you to imagine you're standing in a beautiful,
Open place.
It could be a forest.
A beach.
Or a meadow.
It could be nighttime and you're looking up at the stars.
Or you can feel the warm sun on your skin.
Wherever feels like home to your soul.
Allow it to appear naturally.
There's no need to force it.
Just notice where you are.
Look around.
Feel the ground beneath your feet.
The air around you.
Notice how quiet it is here.
How still.
This is the part of you that exists between the roles you play.
Underneath the to-do list,
The responsibilities.
And the identity you present to the world every day.
This is the part of you that has never been lost.
Only waiting to be heard.
Now in this quiet space,
I want you to place your hand gently over your heart.
Ask silently or out loud.
What have you been trying to tell me?
Don't search for the answer.
Just create space for it.
Maybe words come.
You may get a feeling.
Maybe an image.
Maybe just a sense of something you've been pushing away.
Or haven't let yourself fully want.
Whatever arises.
Let it be here.
Without judgment.
Without needing to immediately know what to do with it.
What do I actually want?
What does my soul?
Want.
Not what I think I should want and not what would make everyone happy.
Not the life I thought I was supposed to build.
What does my soul need?
What?
Now sit with that for a moment.
What came up?
May have surprised you.
It may have confirmed something you already knew.
Deep down.
But you haven't given yourself permission to fully acknowledge.
Either way.
It's welcome here.
Begin to place your hand back at your side.
Caring with you.
Whatever came through.
Know that this connection,
This quiet knowing,
Is always available to you.
It doesn't require a perfect moment.
Or a long retreat.
Just requires you to stop long enough to listen.
Your soul isn't lost.
It hasn't given up on you.
It has simply been waiting for you.
To pick up the phone.
And today,
You did.
Begin to bring back your awareness to the room around you,
Slowly.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes.
Take a deep breath in.
And a long slow deep breath out.
And when you're ready.
Gently open your eyes.
Take a moment before you rush back into your day.
Maybe write down what came up for you.
Honor it.
You don't have to act on it today.
Just let it be known.
Thank you for being here,
And thank you for giving yourself this time.
Your dream is calling.
And now you know.
You're the one who gets to answer it.
