As you prepare yourself for this meditation,

Make sure that you're in a comfortable position.

Make sure that your spine is straight and your spine is relaxed.

Your shoulders are down and your palms are resting on your knees.

Once you're comfortable,

You may close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in and take a deep breath out.

Again,

Take a deep breath in and take a deep breath out.

Ground yourself in the here and now.

Be present to what is right here,

Right now.

Whatever you're feeling in this moment,

It's okay.

Maybe you're here listening to this because you've made a mistake and can't seem to forgive yourself.

Or maybe you're here because you've realized that you've been looking for love in the wrong places and you're reminded that everything begins and ends with self-love.

Whatever the reason,

I'm so glad that you're here.

And I'm here to remind you that you are so loved,

Especially if you're finding it hard to love yourself right now.

You are so loved,

Sweet child.

Call it a higher power,

God,

Source.

Something bigger than you wanted to bring you into this world and wished for you to experience this beautiful journey called life.

And someone,

If not multiple people,

Your family,

Biological or chosen,

Loved you enough to ensure that you could reach adulthood and become the person you are now.

It may not be visible.

It may not be apparent.

But can you see how loved you are?

Is it possible to start loving yourself in the same way?

I promise you,

It is.

When you experience the beauty of a flower,

Do you find yourself wondering,

Why is the stem so long?

Why are the petals different sizes?

Chances are no.

You simply appreciate the flower for what it is in that very moment.

What if you started honoring yourself in the same way?

To see the beauty that is within you rather than judging yourself for what you are or are not.

Honor your own nature the same way that you would honor the nature and beauty of a flower.

For you are blossoming,

Even if it doesn't seem like it.

For you are blossoming,

Even through your struggles and pain.

For you are blossoming,

Even if you're making mistakes.

It is when we seem least deserving of our own love that we need it the most.

When we are feeling down about something we did or did not do,

We don't need to make it harder on ourselves by adding a layer of judgment or guilt on top of it.

Instead,

We get to love ourselves not in spite of what we did or did not do,

But because of it.

For you are lovable even with your character flaws.

For you are lovable even with your struggles.

For you are lovable even with your mistakes.

If we can accept every part of ourselves,

We no longer need to banish or cast aside the parts of ourselves that we don't want to reveal to the world.

If we learn to accept ourselves,

We'll find that the people around us will start accepting us too.

And if they don't,

There are other people out there who will.

In a world with 7.

8 billion people,

You will find your tribe and you will find a place where you belong.

And in this place of belonging,

You no longer need to present a facade,

A shell of who you are.

You are not your anger.

You are not your pain.

You are not your frustrations.

They are merely a part of you,

Just like beauty and wonder are a part of you too.

Embrace every part of you,

Just like you would embrace a flower,

A tree,

Or a cloud.

For you are from the same source,

And divinity pulses within you.

To love yourself is to truly see that you are a divine expression of source.

You are worthy,

You are whole,

And you are so loved,

My sweet child.

Taking her meditationon on the way to the office almost every morning. It gives me deep relaxation and brings me deep breath. I like it when she calls me as a sweet child.
