Within this guided meditation, I take you on a journey to connect with your Inner Child as you let go, release and love yourself. Our Inner Child at the deepest of levels is wanting to be loved and seen for who they are. Take your time to reintegrate these aspects within yourself as you reconnect with the child within. Go steady and take your time as you drift away on this guided meditation.

Hello and welcome to this guided meditation here on Insight Timer to connect and embrace your inner child so that you can love,

Honour and appreciate that inner child within you,

That little girl or little boy inside of yourself.

Before beginning this guided meditation,

What I'd love for you to do is to take this guided meditation slowly and tentatively as you begin to connect with your inner child and you begin to embrace him or her once again so that you can bring your inner child this beautiful unconditional love.

So let's begin by focusing on our breathing.

Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.

One more time in through your nose and out through your mouth.

And slowly allow yourself to relax,

Let go as we begin connecting with your inner child,

That little girl or that little boy inside of yourself.

We're going to begin by creating a safe space and a safe haven where you can feel this beautiful unconditional love.

So imagine for a moment remembering a time when you felt beautiful unconditional love from those around you.

Allow yourself to feel it and notice those feelings inside of yourself.

Notice the pulsating from your heart chakra as your heart slowly opens to this unconditional love.

Feel it inside and connect with whatever you feel in this moment.

Allow yourself to be absorbed in this beautiful unconditional love in this moment knowing that you're safe and protected at any moment in time.

If only you allow yourself to reconnect with this beautiful safe space of unconditional love.

Notice a bubble surrounding you now.

This is a beautiful bubble of protection to assist you with connecting and embracing your inner child as we slowly and tentatively take that journey back to that little girl or that little boy inside of yourself.

Focus on your breathing,

Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Allow yourself to stay connected in this moment,

Relaxed,

Peaceful and content as we begin this journey.

Open yourself first of all as the adult version of who you are,

That safe and secure adult at which you've become,

Where you feel peace and at one with yourself.

But when you take this journey back to your inner child,

Your adult self can nurture and support you in bringing your inner child back home to you.

Feel that strength and character that comes from within you.

Hold that strength as that secure adult and stand in your power in this moment as we take this journey back home to connecting with your inner child once more.

So what I'd love for you to do is to listen to the sound of the shamanic drum and with each beat you will allow yourself to connect with your heart and connect with your soul.

The shamanic drum allows you to become in alignment with your heart and your soul to create that peace as you begin to feel at one with yourself.

As you listen to the sound of the drum,

I want you to float above your body as if you're looking down on your body,

Seeing yourself there.

And now what I'd love for you to do is float back into the past.

Float back into the past where you can reconnect with a childhood memory and a childhood experience as you can slowly connect with this inner child.

Go back to the past as you float back into it.

Float down on the event and notice what you see.

Notice that little girl or that little boy sitting there wanting to feel loved,

Nurtured and supported in this moment.

Seeing that as you bring your adult self back towards your inner child,

You can bring that safety,

Security and nurture from that unconditional love you bring to that boy and that girl inside that just wants to be seen once more.

Allow yourself to slowly float down into that memory,

Into that experience as your adult self reconnecting to that inner child.

Allow yourself to keep that safe distance from that little girl or that little boy that is sat there in this moment.

Connect with that beautiful energy within you,

That unconditional love at which you feel within yourself,

That peace and contentment that you bring to your adult self.

All this safety and security will attract your inner child towards you.

But slowly and tentatively walk towards your inner child,

But only at your own pace and only as much as your inner child feels comfortable and secure.

Take that one step and notice your inner child connecting with you.

Notice again that little boy or that little girl inside feeling that safety,

That security and that unconditional love at which you bring your inner child in this moment.

Notice them shifting their emotions and feelings within as they feel and embrace this unconditional love from you.

Slowly take another step forward,

But only as much as you and your inner child feels comfortable,

Safe and secure as they sit there.

Take a deep breath in through your nose once again and out through your mouth,

Ensuring to hold that peaceful and contented energy within your adult self so that your inner child feels that safety and security from within.

Notice that slow and tentative energy coming from your inner child,

That anticipation and that feeling of being slightly unsure whether to fully embrace you.

But as you slowly and tentatively take another step forward,

Your inner child can feel that unconditional love.

Like a soul bond connecting you and your inner child,

Your inner child feels this beautiful and unconditional love.

Like the beautiful divine feminine and divine mother that protects us at a young age.

Embody that feminine energy in this moment and that unconditional love at which you can bring your little boy or little girl inside.

Allow him again or her to feel that safety and security and allow them to slowly come closer towards you.

Don't take any more steps but open your arms and open your heart to your inner child now,

As your inner child is feeling this love from within you.

Allow your inner child to slowly move towards you as they embrace this feeling within,

As you and your inner child can slowly become at one with yourself.

Letting your inner child become part of you once more.

As your inner child walks slowly towards you,

Allow yourself to sit on a lovely comfortable seat and allow your inner child to sit on your lap in this moment.

Feeling protected,

Supported and loved unconditionally by this divine mother that is within you,

This divine feminine that is within each and every one of us.

Feel that unconditional love and give your inner child that big hug.

Allow your inner child to feel loved and supported in this moment.

Take that deep breath in again and slowly out.

Allow yourself to connect with one another.

Allow that bubble that has protected you as an adult to protect you and now your inner child as well,

So that they feel protected,

Safe and secure in your company.

In the knowing that when you connect with your inner child once more,

They can feel this beautiful safety from within and you can give him or her this beautiful unconditional love.

Sit with your inner child for a moment more and allow them to feel this unconditional love and safety in this moment.

Knowing that you can give that little girl and little boy inside of yourself that unconditional love at any moment in time.

Just allow yourself to remind yourself of this guided meditation and if you feel guided to reconnect with it,

You can listen to it at any moment in time.

Relax,

Let go and feel that love from within.

In a moment,

We are going to float back into the present moment with the unconditional love of your inner child.

So hug that inner child in this moment and allow yourselves to become at one.

Float up above the event once more and bringing your inner child with you,

Feeling that content within and that love from your inner child as you float back into the present moment and into the now with the unconditional love of your inner child in this moment.

Float back into the present moment,

Bringing your inner child with you and notice and feel the safety and security of your inner child as you become at one once more.

Relax,

Let go and allow yourself to release as we slowly end this guided meditation to connect and embrace your inner child.
