Hello,
I am so grateful that you have joined me.
I am going to guide you through a 5 part meditation with affirmations.
Let us begin by taking a few deep breaths.
Yesterday I visited one of my favorite places,
The ocean.
With each breath,
Envision its beautiful energy washing over you.
Inhale.
Release.
Inhale.
Release.
Our first affirmations we are going to say for ourselves.
Gently place your hand on your heart and soak these in.
May I be peaceful.
May I be resilient.
May I honor the beauty of this moment.
Inhale.
Release.
Inhale.
Release.
Next we are going to offer these intentions for a loved one.
Hold them in your heart.
May you be peaceful.
May you be resilient.
May you honor the beauty of this moment.
Inhale.
Release.
Inhale.
Release.
Third part of this meditation we are going to say these intentions for an acquaintance.
Someone we know but not too well.
But we want to send them this goodness.
May you be peaceful.
May you be resilient.
May you honor the beauty of this moment.
Inhale.
Release.
Remember the ocean washing over you with each breath.
Inhale.
Release.
For the next part of this meditation we are going to dig deeper.
Please hold in your heart someone who challenges you.
Remember that underneath this challenge there is pain.
Perhaps it is a bit of your pain as well as theirs.
And with our intentions we are asking for healing.
May you be peaceful.
May you be resilient.
May you honor the beauty of this moment.
Inhale.
Release.
Inhale.
Release.
Our fifth and final step is to offer up these intentions for everyone,
Every living being,
The planet,
Our entire universe.
Very often at this point I look out the window so I can send this energy out into the world.
May you be peaceful.
May you be resilient.
May you honor the beauty of this moment.
Let's take a moment here to envision ourselves walking up to the water's edge.
Breathe in the salty air and ask the ocean to fill us with its power and its peace.
Inhale.
Release.
Inhale.
Release.
Thank you so much for taking this journey with me.
When you're ready,
Go about the rest of your day.
Namaste.
