Hello and welcome to another session of gratitude morning meditation series.

My name is Amita and thank you for joining me today.

Our topic today is gratitude for things you have.

So let's begin.

Begin by giving yourself a short reassuring smile.

Then slowly allow all the things that you presently do not have and are causing you angst to fade from your mind.

They are absolutely not important now.

Any material object you have been desiring,

Let it go.

For this feeling does not serve you.

By focusing on what you have in the future you are negating yourself in the present moment.

So let your desires fade and focus on what you have in this present moment.

Take a deep breath and bring your awareness to your person right now and start from the bottom.

Slowly tracing a line over your own body,

Assert your gratitude.

I am grateful for my shoes.

I am grateful for my pants.

I am grateful for my shirt.

I am grateful for the water,

The soap that I use to wash myself.

I am grateful for the makeup I put on this morning.

I am grateful.

I am grateful for.

I am grateful for.

Carry on this until you no longer can think of anything to be grateful for.

So so Continue with your gratitude for things you have.

Now open your eyes and look out at the world that has given you all these things.

Be grateful to the world.

Remember this sense of gratitude as you bring it into your day-to-day.

Have a wonderful and grateful rest of the day today.

Thank you for meditating with me.

Namaste.

I found myself in a deep, meditative state as I continued to list the things I am grateful for. I was able to experience the feeling of abundance within my physical body through this practice

Love this pause to stop pining for something and appreciate everything you have. Very relaxing and heartfelt yet simple.

I think having a heart of gratitude is one of the most powerful antidotes to anxiety, stress, jealousy, pride and depression. Thank you for allowing me a moment to stop and remember all the many blessings in my life!
