Transcript

Let's take five deep breaths.

Do this at your own pace,

Closing the eyes if that feels good,

Arresting your gaze towards the ground,

Keeping your chin parallel to the floor.

And as you release the breath,

Just imagine the muscles all releasing,

All softening.

Notice anything coming to you and your body shifting if you need to and becoming aware of any thoughts that might be trying to say hello and just do yourself a favor and just say,

I see you,

And then release them with your next exhale.

And with that final exhale,

Just allow yourself to anchor down just a little bit more.

And I'd like to invite you to rest your hands on your heart space.

And if this feels foreign,

Just bring your attention to your heart space.

Take a moment to notice how does this feel?

You can even ask yourself,

How am I feeling right now?

And then I'd like you to shift your breath to the upper body.

So when you breathe in,

You feel your rib cage start to spread open around the heart,

Giving it a little bit more space.

You'll feel the chest grow against the palms of your hands.

Just stay with this breath.

Your heart is a space of connection.

It's a place to connect to your higher self and cultivate compassion and empathy for yourself and others.

The color for your heart chakra can either be green,

Like a deep forest green or a soft pink.

And as you continue to breathe into your heart space,

Begin to imagine the small seed of energetic light in the center of your spine between your breasts.

Notice if the color is green,

Pink,

Or perhaps it's another color.

That's okay.

It might be white,

Gold,

It might show up as this beautiful shimmering crystal light.

Just let the color be whatever shows up.

And as you continue to breathe softly,

Watch this light begin to grow.

Feel it spread across the heart,

Surrounding the rib cage with soft welcoming glow.

And say these loving affirmations either out loud or to yourself.

All love resides in my heart.

I live in balance,

In a state of gratitude for all my lessons.

I show up for myself and others with compassion and kindness.

I give and receive love effortlessly.

We are all connected.

Take a moment to let these affirmations rest in your heart space and without any judgment,

Just notice how they make you feel.

And now let's bring our hands to rest at our throat,

However that feels comfortable.

And take a moment just to feel the warmth and the energy of your hands against your skin.

Your throat chakra is a place of power and self-expression.

The color of this chakra is blue.

Please begin to add a soft audible breath in the back of the throat.

This is called Ujjayi breath or ocean's breath.

So it might sound a little bit as if you were holding a shell to your ear.

Breathing in and releasing the breath,

Just like an ocean wave.

Feel it and hear it slowly rise to its peak and move back to where it began,

Just like the ocean flows into the shore and back out.

Moving very slowly but full of power.

Keep this breath flowing as you imagine a seed of blue light starting to grow in the center of your throat.

With each inhale,

It expands in size and color.

It swirls and surrounds your throat,

Your hands,

And perhaps your head and your shoulders too.

Breathe into this calm blue of self-expression and repeat these affirmations either aloud or to yourself.

I speak my truth calmly and with clarity.

I listen to others without judgment.

I communicate with love.

My voice is important and I am able to express myself easily.

I communicate my thoughts with integrity.

Take a moment and let these affirmations sink in.

And again,

Without judgments,

Notice how they make you feel.

Keeping your eyes closed,

Bring your hands to your lap and take three breaths.

You can let a sigh escape from the mouth if that feels good.

Tilt your chin to your chest and very slowly begin to open the eyes and find some movement in your shoulders and your neck.

And just noticing how that feels.
