It's time.

It's time for bed.

Find your way to lying down in your bed.

Get comfortable.

It's time to set everything else aside.

Turn off the lights.

Turn your awareness inside of your body.

Feel your body in your bed.

Close your eyes.

Feel your body in your bed and close your eyes.

Set the intention to relax your body.

There's nothing else for you to do.

Your day of doing is done.

Simply allow yourself to be here.

Place your hands onto your stomach and watch your breath.

Inhale the hands lift up.

Exhale the hands lower.

Inhale the hands lift.

Exhale the hands lower.

Simply observe your breathing.

When the mind wanders,

Remind yourself that it's time to relax.

And you can press pause.

Every time the mind begins to wander,

You press pause on the thought by bringing your awareness back to your breath.

Simply observe your breathing.

And every time you notice that your mind has begun to think again,

Press pause.

Remind yourself that there's nothing more that you need to do.

Simply observe your breathing.

The time has come to relax as you watch your breath.

Lower your arms down by your sides if you haven't already.

Noticing the breath,

Relax your body deeper into your bed.

There's nothing more for you to do,

But to simply allow yourself to lie here,

Pressing pause every time a thought rises with the intention to relax the body and calm your mind.

Relax your body and calm your mind as you focus your awareness on the rise and the fall of your breath.

For as long as you stay awake,

Watch the breath.

And eventually you drift into sleep.

Namaste.

This is an enjoyable - and rare - addition to my sleep practice. With limited wakeful moments before falling asleep, I am quite particular about what I add to my small library of regular bedtime practices. This has made that list, it's just that good. 😊 Thank you for sharing this. Bookmarked and downloaded. I see the light in you. 🤲🏻❤️🤲🏻
