Welcome.

Find your way into a seated position,

Preferably up onto a blanket,

Bolster,

Or prop.

Something that elevates your hips up higher than your knees.

Place one ankle in front of the other with your hands onto your thighs,

Palms face down.

Shift your shoulders directly up and over your hips.

Tuck your chin slightly in towards your chest.

Settle your legs into the earth.

Inhale,

Lengthen through your side body.

Extend up through the crown of your hat.

Draw your chin slightly down towards the chest as you shift your gaze towards the tip of your nose.

Allow your eyes to close.

Sit with your heart high.

And your sitting bones in towards the earth.

Bring your awareness to your breath.

Breathe into your belly center.

Inhale,

Allow your belly to expand as you bring more air and prana into the navel.

And with an exhale,

Draw your belly button in towards your spine.

With each inhale,

Fill the belly up like a balloon.

And in every exhale,

Slowly empty the air out.

As you begin to breathe into your belly,

Become aware now that you're breathing into the sacral chakra,

The mani purah chakra,

The energetic center of who you are,

The seat of fire,

Of passion,

Will,

And confidence.

As you breathe into this area,

Imagine with every inhale,

You get a little closer to the sun.

You can start to see the yellow light of the sun as you inhale and you feel the warmth as you get closer.

And as you exhale out,

It becomes a little darker and less hot.

Breathe into the center of who you are,

The light center,

The center of fire.

As you breathe into this energy center,

The space just above your belly button,

Your navel,

Contemplate for you what does it mean to change and transform.

How does it feel for you when you meet change in your life?

What does it feel like in the transitions of transformation?

With every inhale that you breathe into the solar plexus,

Feel the warmth,

Notice the light.

Maybe sometimes it gets too bright and too warm.

As you exhale,

It's such a relief to step back.

As you breathe into the center of your belly,

Know that change is not always easy.

Sometimes we resist.

The transformation is not an easy process.

But with effort,

We lean in.

We get a little closer to the fire.

And just like nature,

Just like the phases of the moon,

Every part,

Every transition serves a purpose.

Sometimes we hold on to that last leaf.

Resist complete death for a little while.

And as we let go,

We embody the phase of death.

And as we transform,

We plant new seeds in spring,

And then again the blooming of summer.

And each phase,

We get closer to our center,

Closer to the core of who we are.

Past all the labels,

The eyes,

The minds,

And we come into the center of who we are.

The divine light.

The light that brightens the entire blue sky and brightens a completely pitch dark night.

Breathe deep into your belly as you contemplate what it means to you to change.

What does it mean to you to transform?

As you breathe into the center,

The core,

Remember just how powerful you are when you breathe into your center.

When you connect to the center of fire like a blazing forest.

You are strong.

You are bright.

You are powerful.

And sometimes that means you're in the heat of fire.

And that doesn't mean it's easy,

But you sit.

Sometimes you lean in.

Sometimes you jump in.

But wherever you are in the process,

You remember that it is just that.

A process.

Continue to breathe into your belly to question what does change mean for you?

How does transformation feel?

And remember,

You are powerful.
